Per i più "avanzati" si andrà più a fondo in argomenti, come la tecnica sullo strumento piuttosto che l'improvvisazione, lo sviluppo del senso melodico e ritmico o composizioni originali. Insieme studieremo brani e approfondiremo la teoria musicale per usarla nella pratica. Condividerò con voi i miei approcci per scrivere musica e sviluppare creatività.

I am a musician and composer specializing in guitar and Jazz music, with experience in Rock and Pop, and in other musical genres. In my guitar lessons you will learn the basics of playing this instrument. You will learn to play traditional Rock and Pop songs and riffs, or Jazz songs as Standard or modern songs. You will learn scales and arpeggios that will be absolutely important for you to get closer to the concept of improvisation. Yes, you will learn how to improvise and write your own music!
For the more "advanced" we will go deeper into topics, such as the technique of the instrument, improvisation, the development of the melodic and rhythmic sense or your original compositions. Together we will learn songs and delve into music theory to put it in a practical way. I will share with you my approach for writing music and developing creativity.
But most of all, regardless of your level, you will have fun!

Sono un insegnante di chitarra da almeno 5 anni. Ho insegnato in Italia (Ancona) in diverse scuole e attualmente sto insegnando privatamente a Basilea. Trovo molto bello e stimolante questo lavoro poiché mi reputo una persona a cui piace stare a contatto con le persone e condividere la mia conoscenza musicale con loro. Mi piace vedere miglioramenti nei miei studenti e che soprattutto si divertono nel suonare. Trovo che essere insegnante sia un lavoro assolutamente basato nell'empatia e che, quindi, mi ci rispecchio benissimo.

- Ho frequentato per 6 anni al Conservatorio Gioacchini Rossini di Pesaro, in cui ho avuto l'opportunità di studiare con musicisti di alto livello come Bebo Ferra, GianMarco Gualandi, Luca Lo Bianco.
- Sto attualmente studiando al Jazz Campus di Basilea; i miei principali insegnanti sono Lionel Loueke e Wolfgang Muthspiel. Prendo anche lezioni da Guillermo Klein, Larry Grenadier, Mark Turner, David Virelles, Bäns Oester, Roberto Koch, Lester Menezes. Ho avuto anche l'opportunità di partecipare a workshop di incredibili musicisti come Brad Mehldau e di suonare con Seaumus Blake, Carlo Mombelli e Ralph Alessi.

Ho insegnato 5 anni privatamente in Ancona, nella scuola "Musicalmonte", e sono stato inoltre insegnante per un anno nella "Vincent persichetti" di Falconara Marittima. I am singer, classically trained with a main focus in early music and voice embodiment. I also studied recorder, clarinet and musicology.

As a teacher and performer, I focus on a joyful, healthy and technically skilled way of singing. I focus not only on the sound production, but also on body posture, relaxation and organic movement. An happy and relaxed body creates a beautiful, natural and relaxed sound.
We choose the repertoire together and work together towards developing your voice, your expressivity, text and style interpretation at your fullest potential.

I have experience teaching several music genres, from classical, jazz, pop, folk music and even extended vocal techniques like growls. I am quite open to the students requests and always willing to research deeper and expand my vocal vocabulary.

Singing is a vulnerable, intimate and also communal act. Sadly, our modern world has mystified it into the sphere of the "born-talent" ideal, which often scares people from even trying to sing. I find this phenomena a cruel and exclusivist perspective on singing.

I consider singing an universal right, and we should all be unashamed of singing, be it in your bathtub, while walking on the street, in a dinner with friends, or in the next open stage at your local bar.

We all have the capacity and the right to sing.
If anybody has told you that you can't sing, they were wrong. Like any skill, you can learn it.
And if you sing, you, your body, and your soul will be happier.

One of my students once said: "You come for a singing lesson and you discover something new about who you are". I think that would summarize well the space I try to create in my lessons.

My primary focus is on creating a personal connection and approach to the chosen instruments and to music in general. This includes (depending on your wishes, of course) your own musical expression, improvisation, songwriting (with lyrics if desired), song accompaniment and improvisation, as well as music theory and instrument-specific references.

Stylistically, the focus is on blues, rock, folk pop and world music, with strong references and influences from classical music, hip hop, electronic music and jazz.

Course for beginners and advanced students

My course focuses on the personal realtion between the individual, the chosen instruments and the music itself. This includes musical expression, improvisation, songwriting, songwriting, interpretation as well as music theory and specific aspects of the instrument.

My musical background lies between blues, folk, rock, pop and world music with influences from classical, as well as electronic music, hip hop and jazz.
