Hi,

I have been studying music since I almost know myself. This all started with a fascination towards the piano, after starting to sing in the Turkish Radio Choir for Children. I desperately wanted to learn how to play the piano and now here I am. I have studied piano for a long time and then decided to add studying Composition to the equation as well.

One thing I learned while studying music is that this is a labor of love. Therefore I care deeply about my student's experiences and feelings while learning music. I try to create a supportive, positive, and kind environment for them to experience this in a healthy way. And I like to create a program according to my student's wishes and goals, that are specific to them.

I teach piano and keyboard skills with a friendly and encouraging approach. Drums, as with bass guitar are the backbone of any good song, and the foundation upon which the music is built. Despite not being as famous as lead vocals or lead guitar. Drums in my opinion is much more fun, at all levels of performance.

I will teach you how to play the drums, how to fit the style to the genre and we will learn by practice by breaking down the famous classics, and explain what part drums played to make these classics so good.

We will use my electronic drumset, which is not as good as the real thing but is definitely good for starters. There are ways you can practice at home without a drumset as well. And we can expand later and rent a studio room, where I can jam with you on the guitar even!

My name is Sara and I'm a classical pianist and piano teacher. I have been a pianist for about 15 years and started teaching it a while ago as well. I offer lessons in 3 different languages ( English, Arabic and German) for both beginner and intermediate levels.

I believe music should be enjoyed and comfortably played, allowing people to both connect with it and understand while challenging them to express themselves in new and different ways. Music lessons are fun and will be set to make the student confident and comfortable in their playing. If any student needs extra time or space to feel secure and safe, I will offer as much understanding and security as I can.

I graduated in piano with the highest honors under the guidance of Maestro Roberto Corlianò. Later I worked in Salzburg, Austria, as a piano teacher's assistant and later in Italy in two different schools as a piano and music theory teacher. I have had students from 4 to 75 and the lessons will be open to all those who want to approach this instrument for the first time or wish to deepen their knowledge.
