Trusted teacher: I offer math and physics lessons for all levels between 6th and post bac (possibility Prepa, license, bts ...). These courses can be either online or on site (London) if you prefer, and the number of hours you wish. The course can be given in both French and English, at your convenience. The price indicated below serves as a reference for a high school level course. Plan a little less for college level and a little more for post baccalaureate level. I am a French student at Supaero (Grande École d'Ingénieur en Aeronautique et Spatial in Toulouse) and I am currently doing a master's degree in theoretical physics at King's College London. I did a Prepa at Lycée du Parc in Lyon in PCSI-PSI *. I gave private lessons to high school students in France. The method: go back to class with the student to see what he understood and explain to him in a pedagogical way what was complicated for him. Likewise with regard to exercises, DM and DS. The goal is not to correct him but to bring him himself to the right answer by transmitting to him the correct method of reasoning.

Trusted teacher: I am a Spanish born actress that have recently moved to London, where part of my family is from. Having been born in a bilingual household I know how tricky switching the languages can be and how intimidating the accents can be too, mostly when speaking in public and even more in a professional environment. I mostly work in film, where everything is very visual and clear, so I have lots of experience in having to control shaking nerves, shaky voice and mostly, confidence. My teaching methodology is absolutely tailored to every student. I mostly specialise in public speaking in a language that is not your mother tongue. Practice, Preparation and Communication are my key words when teaching public speaking. We will start by knowing what it is you want to achieve and what it is you feel is lacking, and we will build from there. We will learn about voice techniques (to have a clear, crispy, eloquent voice), position, movement, even what to wear!

Trusted teacher: I am a violin teacher for students of all ages and skill levels. Additionally, I am also experienced in teaching viola for beginners. In my class we will work on improving technical skill, maturing musical ideas and finding effective ways to practice. Most importantly though I aim to nurture a passion for music. For beginners I typically start with scales and Suzuki pieces. If desired, we will eventually move onto the ABRSM or Trinity syllabus. For more advanced students who are very invested in music we will work through advanced scales while always having on hand a study and suitable piece to work on.

Trusted teacher: Hello! I’m Veronica and I’m an Italian professional living in London for more than 6 years. If you are looking to improve your Italian, having conversations and know more about il “Bel Paese”, please don’t hesitate to contact me! :) Let’s talk in Italian!
Trusted teacher: **In light of recent developments, I am now available for daytime lessons in person and online via Skype, Zoom or Google Hangouts** I have availability immediately and throughout the summer. I specialise in tutoring maths for primary mainstream and SEN children. I use a Maths Mastery Method which begins with using concrete materials to model problems. Next, I represent these materials with pictures and diagrams. Finally, I move to the abstract where numbers and symbols are used to make a number sentence to represent a problem. I break down concepts into small steps and provide repetition with variety so that students can apply and generalise their knowledge to a range of contexts to gain procedural fluency and a holistic understanding. I spend significant time developing a strong knowledge of the foundations of maths and key ideas that are needed to underpin future learning. Connections within maths are emphasised so that students develop deep learning. Students are encouraged to look for patterns and relationships, think mathematically and talk about their findings. In order to reduce the demand on students' memory to free up more space for the learning of new concepts, we also focus on learning to automaticity key facts such as times tables, number bonds and addition facts. I review progress with children and parents and give advice on practical strategies in order to support learners in the home.

I have been playing the piano for 13 years. I have always loved learning the instrument and music in general. I teach beginner classes for any age, however, most of my experience is teaching children. I teach classical piano. I can teach for whatever ends are desired, be that going through the ABRSM grades or just playing for fun. Learning music can be quite frustrating particularly when few teachers intertwine musical theory with instrumental proficiency in a comprehensive manner. Normally the focus is on one or the other and I personally found this quite frustrating. I always felt the best way was to learn both alongside each other - that is to apply musical knowledge to the instrument and to have the knowledge to appreciate and understand the music that is being played. The best part is this can all be done at the keyboard, keeping playing the piano a fun activity and not a chore.

Italian is my native languages, I have started teaching italian when I was at Uni in Coventry. Here I had the chance to practice teaching for a various of different students, from student to adult, from european to asian students. This helped me learn to overcome any difficulty that comes with teaching in a mixed class. Before starting my teaching experience I have attended a training course which was focused in teaching using only the language without translating. Implication helps students understand and remember better as they have to find the rule by themselves instead of simply reading it through a grammar book. I am native italian but I am fluent in French and Spanish. I have an undergraduate bachelor in Applied Languages with Spanish and I study french since the age of three, hence I have also experience in teaching spanish and french. Certified for AQA Certification or translations, particularly in business or economics
