ABOUT ME I am a friendly, solid, inspiring, patient, real-world music teacher, with over a decade's experience as a working, touring, studying, writing, teaching, musician! APPROACH Creating a nice atmosphere is really important to me. I'd love to know more about your goals and what excites you - your dreams might be as big as building a career in music, or as small as being able to perform a few songs to no-one but yourself and your cat. Anything and everything in between is totally valid and worth exploring! THINGS I CAN HELP WITH - How to get the most from music, whether that be through following a grade system, or just learning how to play the music you love. - Getting to that "next level" of guitar playing, wherever you are at the moment - Organising the fretboard, rhythm, inspiration, what to practice (at any level) - Providing helpful real-world context for the things you might be learning at school/college/university/YouTube - Songwriting/Arranging/Production, from very first steps to advanced concepts - Blocks/worries you might have about any aspect of music, or a kind of music coaching role (I'm not a licensed therapist but I'm here for it!) With an emphasis on creativity and student input; my lessons allow students to discover their own playing style and musical direction.
