I am a undergraduate at Exeter University studying Maths. I specialise in pure maths and statistics. I aim to go over any work the student has and practice tests as well as any general issues a student may have. I'd love to help involve more young people in maths, and show them what a university career in maths would look like. I'm a composer of electronic music, cellist and artist. I have been teaching at university and privately to a wide range of students from children to adults. I can offer introductory lessons in composition using music technology, cello performance, music theory and history. My aim is to foster creative practice, critical thinking, individual growth and wellbeing through the experience of music-making. The teaching methods I use are based on humanist theories where my role is that of a facilitator. As a teacher, I see myself as supporting students’ individual creative development and my approach changes according to each student’s learning needs and backgrounds. Reflection and evaluation are key principles I adopt in my teaching practice. Exchange and dialogue allow students to reflect on their own and others’ work, to put their practice into context, and to critically engage with the subjects taught.

Trusted teacher: Private lessons and tutoring Student in a language school in London, I give private lessons in mathematics and French for students in classes from 6 th to 12th grade. After a Scientific baccalaureate and 2 years of preparatory class for the grandes écoles, I had the opportunity to work for private tutoring organizations in Paris. I followed for almost two years students of all levels. I can cite you as an example: Preparation for the certificate for a pupil in the 3rd year, preparation for the baccalaureate for a pupil in the Scientific terminal, and many others. My methodology consists first of all in working the course and practicing on simple applications in order to clearly identify the student's difficulties. After the explanation of the misunderstood concepts, I propose deepening exercises, so that the student can prepare for the supervised homework. The goal is for the student to acquire work methods that will allow him to be more comfortable in the subject taught. For more information, contact me by direct message.
