Trusted teacher: I like that my pupils enjoy their French lesson. I use at the beginning of the lesson a routine. Example for children the greetings, date, weather of the day, numbers and important verbs. Then we work on a special topic using Power Point presentation or tutorials on Ipad for learning the French vocabulary. We do some practice with exercise (paper and games on ipad). For the teenagers the lesson is more academics. I insist on the grammar which is really important and the tense of the verbs. I usually work on the topics studied at school unless the student has a special request. I provide with some support as revision cards for tense of the verbs, topics. For the IGCSE preparation I also include some listening, reading and comprehension and oral questions on the subject studied.
Trusted teacher: Are you serious about learning to play violin? Do you want to learn how to tackle difficult violin pieces? Do you want to learn how to practise efficiently? Do you want to know how to tackle stage nerves and how to plan your time before a performance? Do you need help with fingerings and bowings for a specific piece? Online violin lessons are becoming more and more popular as they offer real convenience for a student who either wants to learn with a specific teacher who might be based in another country, or when attending lessons in person is problematic because of the student's schedule. Dunja , who has 15 years of overall teaching experience, has successfully taught via Skype and Zoom for the past 7 years. Lessons are scheduled based on the most suitable time (whatever the time zone!) for both Dunja and the student.
English can be a subject many find hard while at school. My aim as a private tutor is to get my students to learn to like English as well as improve their grades. I teach a range of ages and levels. One hour or more depending on how the student feels. After an initial test a solid plan will be made for the student so that the outcomes of the course are outlined from the start. Every 6 weeks a progress test will be given so that we can mionitor the progress being made and allow for more challenging opportunities. I love the subject I teach and I hope to omit that onto my student so that they avidly want to attend my lessons and leave feeling as though they have gained knowledge.

A typical open level class includes Relaxation, Pranayama (breathing exercises), warm-ups including Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar), Single & Double leg raises, 12 Basic asanas (postures) and final deep relaxation. The focus is on mastering the basic asanas from which variations are then added to further deepen the practice. The asanas follow an order that allows for the systematic movement of every major part of the body in a balanced way that enhances prana or life force energy, keeping the mind quiet and without the need to think beyond each individual pose. I also teach chair yoga which will be different from the above class description but still includes relaxation, breathing exercises and simpler chair based yoga.
