Looking for an enthusiastic and patient music tutor? I am a violin, singing, piano and music theory tutor, who is classically trained musician with a Music degree. I can also teach Music GCSE and A-level and composition. I am especially passionate about song-writing, if that is something you or your child is looking for tutoring in.

Lois is available to teach Flute from beginner to Grade 8 and Music Theory and Recorder up to ABRSM Grade 5. Lois delivers fun and energetic flute lessons which touch on basic theory knowledge to develop musicianship skills. She is always developing and adapting her teaching styles to fit the different needs of her pupils and encourages her students to join musical activities and enter ABRSM/Trinity exams.

The guitar is a beautiful instrument that let us express ourselves throughout this gorgeous language called Music. If you are a beginner who wants to learn how to play guitar from scratch this is the right spot for you. We are going to work on your technique, music knowledge and artistic. We can also tackle any song you and specific topic you are interested in. If you considered yourself an intermediate player who’s seeking how to move directly forward to the next step these classes are for you. We will work together on every single aspect and detail to take whatever your level is to the next one. In my classes we work on three different axis. The first one is based on the student music knowledge applied to the instrument, we work on things such as intervals, fretboard knowledge, harmony and improvisational concepts. The second one is based on the technique and the correct execution of the instrument and the third one is based on playing music and polishing details to sound better. Piano for All is an educational experience designed to teach people of different age groups to play the piano. Beautiful Rhythm is both precise & expressive. For the musician, it needs to be clear in both the mind & the body. Whether you are a beginner or a professional seeking help, I will be here for you. I teach the theory of rhythm and its practice. I can provide an all-encompassing progressive approach, or some training on a specific music piece (provided the piece really is at your level). Basic rhythms, or complex rhythm found in music from the Renaissance to contemporary classical music... anything can be addressed. Again, Rhythm needs to be clear in your mind and your body, therefore the lesson will be tailored around you and the score. My students often tell me I am very patient. I'd rather say I am understanding and straightforward. Actually, please know that I am also demanding: While there is no difficulty that I cannot understand, (and I found it thrilling to find a solution when the student seems stuck) yet I am not interested in approximation. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch. There are no limit for styles, bring your favorite music and I will provide a safe environment for your personal and musical growth. Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (…). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (…). Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.
