Lois delivers fun and energetic flute lessons which touch on basic theory knowledge to develop musicianship skills. She is always developing and adapting her teaching styles to fit the different needs of her pupils and encourages her students to join musical activities and enter ABRSM/Trinity exams.

My name is Luke and I am a 24 year old, multi-award winning guitarist from Greenwich, London. I am an experienced and enthusiastic teacher and am adept at all varieties of guitar playing, including, classical, acoustic, electric and bass. Regarding my previous experience in tutoring, I have given 1000's of hours of guitar tuition both privately and in school settings. These experiences have given me a keen sense of how to motivate students and offer them concise and useful advice. I have worked at many excellent institutions in the past, including Streatham and Clapham Girls' School (one of the top private girls schools in the country), Orpington Music Studio, The Royal Arsenal School of Music and Canada Blanch Music Academy. I have found over my experiences of being taught and then eventually teaching that the best method for getting the most out of a student is to listen. If the tutor is acutely aware of where their student needs help and where they are already confident, they can tailor classes carefully to make the best use of the time allowed and to get the maximum potential out of them. This philosophy leads to classes being student-oriented, in that the student leads the tuition. The tutor acts as a supportive crutch, first working through problems together, then allowing them to explore it themselves with the tutor to lean back on. In my first years of training, like many others, I completed grades. Because of this I have a very good knowledge of what it takes to move along this system. However, the grade system should not be seen as the only way to learn an instrument. The same achievement can be gained through simple discussion between student and teacher and the correct prescription of pieces and studies to work on. Hey there! My name is Dominic, and I'll be providing you with everything you need to reach your musical goals, whichever those may be. These lessons consist of music theory, in which we'll go over the essentials (and more) for smooth coasting in the music world. Whatever your main focus might be instrumentally, or if you just want to know more about how music works, these lessons are for you! I'm currently a piano and music theory teacher at AMT, which is an institution near my hometown. I've got a full 8 year music course (mostly focused on classical piano), which I successfully completed in 2025. I've also got a year of music teaching experience on my shoulders, as well as plenty of experience helping younglings and less experienced musicians with any difficulties they may have had over the years. I'm currently offering online lessons and lessons at your location, as I'm going to be moving soon. Once things have settled better, other options may open up.
