I have studied Piano Performance and Musicology at top universities in the UK and graduated with distinction. I have 7 years of teaching experience and an ABRSM Diploma certificate for Piano Performance. I design different lesson plans for every single student depending on their goals, levels, learning methods, interests, and abilities. You or your child will learn to become a complete musician, with not only performance techniques but also other highly transformative abilities: sightreading skills, aural skills, theory knowledge, and above all, good taste in music. After teaching at top Private and State schools in the UK, I've just expanded my teaching business with 8 new slots for online piano students. My teaching methods have proven effective with all age groups, from ages 6 and upwards. I've also spend significant time teaching adults and those with special needs. Lessons focus on the needs of the student individually, and can be tailored to match any goal. Most students do tend to focus on the standard ABRSM exam route. I am a professional pianist who has studied in St Petersburg Conservatory (in Russia) and at the moment work as a pianist, organist and concertmaster in different locations and I am willing to share my knowledge with people who have a passion for music. I am mainly looking for students who want to pursue music/piano as a hobby and not a professional career due to timings. By the age of 12 years old, Rhiannon had participated in 5 performances in the Royal Albert Hall as well as a tour of Brittany (France). Since obtaining a BMus (Hons) Degree in 2012, Rhiannon has worked as a freelance violinist internationally with companies such as Burberry & Polydor Music, with orchestras by the likes of BBC concert Orchestra & Nu Civilisation Orchestra, at venues including the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall & Ronnie Scotts, in studios including Elstree Studios & BBC Maida Vale Studios, and in festivals including the EFG London Jazz Festival, WOW Women of the World Festival & Crossing Borders Festival in the Netherlands. Rhiannon has experience playing a wide range of genres from working with award-winning artists including Jess Glynne (Pop), Anna-Jane Casey (Theatre), Anne-Sofie Von Otter (Opera), Isabella Melodies (Gospel) & Le Gateau Chocolat (Cabaret). She is the proud Youth Ambassador for the company Black Women In Arts, lead violinist of Tomorrow's Warrior's String Ting, lead violinist of the Nu Civilisation Orchestra, and leads the affiliate orchestra to Jazz Jamaica All-Stars. Rhiannon and is currently doing a Masters in Jazz Violin Performance at Guildhall School of Music. Rhiannon an experienced teacher currently teaching for Tri-Borough Music Hub. She spent 7 years teaching in two top preparatory schools in London, and also taught jazz and improvisation at the Southbank Centre for Tomorrow's Warriors to adults. She has given masterclasses at venues including the Southbank Centre and Rich Mix, and led multiple masterclasses as part of the Yehudi Menuhin Centenary Week in 2016. Rhiannon's teaching experience includes preparing children for exams and auditions - with some of her pupils having been awarded music scholarships to top independent schools in London, as well as places at Junior Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and The Centre for Young Musicians.

Music is something incredible, specially when you start to understand it! In this class I will go through the basics of music theory to help you understand the songs you choose to sing and teach you all the guitar basic for you to be able to take on a song and make it your own. This class is specially suited for people who really want to learn how to play so they can play and sing and make real acoustic performances without needing backup tracks. Somethings we'll cover in class: - Learning how to read music - Understanding some of the rules in music so we can understand the songs we are playing - Basis for trying to learn a song by ear and doing some own arrangements to it - Guitar chords - Building a chord on the guitar - Learn how to use both hands in different ways and play with rhythm - Play from your soul and not just because you've learn it!

I'm a composer and I have a Master degree in composition, conducting and orchestral percussion instruments. I used to teach percussion, drums and music theory, and I like to teach and share composition subjects such as orchestration, instrumentation, harmony and counterpoint, ear training, solfeggio and music theory, score analysis, audio recording, digital music notation.

I have instructed students of different age groups in saxophone performance and music theory (including counterpoint, harmony and composition) up until university level, in Spain and the UK. After graduating from Cambridge with a double starred first, taking into consideration my academic results and teaching experience, I have also been selected for inclusion in the Supervisor Registry to teach counterpoint and harmony papers. My approach to lessons is very flexible, and I always try to adapt to the needs and qualities of each student. I believe that communication is essential, and at the beginning of each lesson I ask my students if they found my recommendations from the previous lesson helpful and how they see their progress. After this spoken introduction, we proceed to work on some warm-up and technical exercises. Then, we play some studies and pieces, or go over some music theory exercises, trying to apply the advice from the previous lesson and make further improvements. Finally, we conclude the lesson with a summary, listing the main key points and suggestions and comparing our experience to the previous lessons, trying to find a clear sense of progression and a coherent line of work towards a certain goal. This teleological mindset occupies a central position in my methodology, and I always encourage my students to look ahead and plan a series of stimulating events or challenges to look foward to, such as a concert, a recital, a presentation or an exam.
