I am an experienced 1-1 Music Teacher with a first class BA Hons from Newcastle University in Music, as well as an MMus in Jazz from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I've taught a variety of instruments including saxophone, clarinet, piano, singing and music theory, as well as helping with students academic work.
I always tailor my lessons to fit the student and aim to find what their passion is and use that as the direction for lessons. I am hugely passionate about music and I always aim to share that with the student. I am enthusiastic and personable and I look forward to teaching you!

Music forms a great soundtrack in this journey called life, and as a passionate musician and a versatile music teacher, my aim is to inspire others to develop their talents and appreciate the joy of music.

With over 15 years of experience, I teach singing, guitar, music theory, and music production to students that are eager to learn and broaden their skills. My main goal is to create tailored lesson plans to match the needs and ambitions of every student, as we are all different and most importantly we learn in different ways.

Whether you’re a beginner or you already play and sing and want to refine your skills, I will teach you the basics all the way through to mastering what’s needed to become an accomplished player and musician. I will guide you through the areas that you need to improve while also showing you how to make the most of your talent.

Violin lessons with me are individual and catered to the needs of each student. Beginner violinists will discover the violin through a variety of engaging theory, aural and practical exercises. More experienced violinists will be able to unlock new technique as well as discover new and exciting repertoire.

Music is a wonderful thing to learn, it is a universal language. Over the years I have developed specific programs to suit the needs of every students. I offer support with specific ongoing programs such as help with preparing for the graded exams and schools assessments as well as working on specific topics: Reading, Transcribing, Grooves, Styles, Technique, Soloing, Rudiments and Creative Composition.

I offer classes for beginners of guitar, bass, piano, drums, music theory, and music production.
My aim with these classes is to give the freedom of expression through the instrument and the knowledge of music to the student as soon as possible enough to be able to jam comfortably with friends at first and add the most complicated subjects once established confidence and passion, I often use music and philosophy to explain each other during lessons cause I'm really passionate about both and I personally often used music rules to compared to real-life to understand the way they both works.
I have a studio where I can give my lessons, especially for drummers and a piano at home if you don't have one.
If the student has the instrument and a place where to have lessons I'm also up to come to that place to let the student be in its comfortable environment.

Juan was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of nine he started teaching himself how to play guitar, bass, keyboards and drums; before joining local bands and performing around the country.

After studying sound engineering at the Universidad Nacional de Lanús, he worked as a live sound engineer and separately on a number of music productions in his home studio. He also trained as a luthier/guitar technician, building and repairing stringed instruments alongside his father, using his surname as a brand.

In 2014 Juan moved to London to develop his skills and connections. His passion and commitment to music led him to working at guitar repair workshops around the capital city, including Camden Town and the well-known Denmark Street. He repaired guitars for artists like the legendary Jarvis Cocker (Pulp), Mercury Prize-winner Michael Kiwanuka, Grammy-winners Mumford & Sons, and King Krule. He later taught Brit Award-winners Bastille how to play the traditional rhythms of his home country.

In 2017, Juan started composing a wide range of music genres for all kinds of audio-visual media productions, including advertising campaigns for: Samsung, Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Nesquik, Avon and Breil

At the same time, he played with a host of different bands as a guitarist, and busked around town. Juan was hired to work as a guitar technician at Abbey Road on live recording sessions. During this period spent in the studio, mastering engineer Wharton spotted Juan’s potential and encouraged him to focus more of his attention on writing, releasing and performing his own material

My name is Marat and I am a London-based pianist, musicologist and composer with more than 20 years of experience. I am a core member of the New Maker Ensemble, a group dedicated to experimenting with various art forms of new music and performance art. I regularly write articles and album reviews about new music. I have given lectures and presentations on new music at various conferences and events, including the Gnesin Contemporary Music Week 2020, 2021 and 2022, the Gnesin Academy and ZIL Culture Centre. And I even have my own podcast about new music.

I always make sure all pupils enjoy their lessons giving a friendly and fun approach to them. Regardless of age and skill level I want my students to be able to enjoy their time practicing and playing. I can prepare students for all grades of the ABRSM or other boards exams and I complement the lessons with music theory and aural skills training when needed. I can also offer music theory lessons that being to complement music education, prepare for the ABRSM music theory exams or just to expand the knowledge in that area.
The approach for in-person and online tuition are quite similar. I effectively teach using both methods with great results in both. When online, I make sure they are of exceptional quality and the pupil gets the same results they would get in person. They are ideal if traveling is a limitation for the student or just want to take them from the comfort of their home using their own instrument.

I'm a jazz student at Trinity Laban Conservatoire going into my 3rd year- with extensive teaching experience ranging from preschool to pension, I have helped people to ace grade exams and pushed guitarists to understand music better. I currently have numerous happy guitar students, most of whom I have taught from their first time with the instrument.

I can teach right from the first stage, and help with grade exams if that's the route you choose to take. If not, I often do a more modern, non-graded path as well. I'm also equipped to help in passing theory grades, and very knowledgeable about music tech, recording, effects and gear!

Evie studied music at university in London and has been playing violin and viola for over 20 years. She is interested in a broad range of music, which she hopes to share with students of all ages and abilities in their lessons. As a performer, Evie plays in various settings - folk, jazz, in bands, as well as more typical orchestral and chamber ensembles. Her own musical interest currently lies in folk, baroque music and improvisation.
