This class will prepare students for practical and written examinations related to the field of Drama and Theatre Arts (this may include but is not limited to; GCSE Drama, A-Level Drama, GCSE English language or Literature, BTEC courses, Degree level courses related to theatre and performance).

After an initial session to discuss the curriculum content and the outcomes the student hopes to achieve for their particular exam or performance, each session will be tailored to the individual students needs.

In the past five years I have obtained my Degree and Master's Degree in the field of contemporary theatre practices as well as working with a small company to produce and tour innovative new performances. I have an extensive skills-base spanning contemporary devised theatre, classical texts, producing, academic writing and much more.

I aim to make these classes fun and informative; allowing students to reach their potential academically whilst aiding them in becoming forward-thinking creative individuals.

I particularly specialise in tutoring religious studies and philosophy at GCSE level. This includes helping students with any assignments and going through practice papers.

Each lesson will end with a summary of what has been learnt and the progress of the student will be monitored throughout. I put my students first and I want them to enjoy their learning.

I offer specialized tutoring in GCSE History, focusing on key topics such as Crime and Punishment in Britain from c1000 to the present, Whitechapel from c1870 to c1900 (covering crime, policing, and the inner city), Early Elizabethan England from 1558 to 1588, as well as Superpower Relations and the Cold War from 1941 to 1991, and Weimar and Nazi Germany from 1918 to 1939.

My method comes from my own professional experience working in London theatres. I believe heavily in preparation. Doing the work! Then letting go and being free on stage opening yourself to act spontaneously.

I direct and teach with the National Youth Theatre of GB and other theatre companies across London.

In my three years of coaching my students have gained places at RADA, LAMDA, Drama Studio London, East 15 and NYT. I can help with the interview stage and with selecting material.

Once we have that we will slowly dissect the piece and the world of the play to truly understand the character's wants/needs/obstacles/actions.

Also, I will....
- Give you confidence in your speech and in yourself for your upcoming auditions.

- Help you find your most natural performance.

- Explore and find exciting and different ways to perform the text. Settling on what works best for you.

- Also having FUN, because that's what acting is about right?!
