French Tutoring with Languages Graduate, Beginner and Intermediate Level
From 26 £ /h
Hello!
My name is Matthew and I'm a recent UCL graduate; I was awarded first-class honours in Dutch and French.
Do you have exams coming up? We can work closely to a syllabus so you pass with flying colours. Perhaps you're planning to visit a French-speaking nation or otherwise interact with French speakers, in which case we can work through a whole range of practical scenarios you're likely to encounter so you always leave a great impression.
Our classes can have as much or as little structure as you like; it's entirely up to you. I'll be keen to hear what your objectives and expectations are, and from there we can work out a plan of action.
I look forward to meeting you.
Matthew.

About Me
I graduated from UCL in 2023 in Dutch and French.
I'm applying for graduate schemes in industries such as banking, and what better to do in the meantime than make use of my language skills to help others.
My intuitive and favoured approach is to get to know the student, and make plans according to what is most productive for them. I'm certainly not one to prescribe the same methods or schedule regardless of context.
I like other languages too, although I'm not comfortable teaching them for now! Besides Dutch, I studied Mandarin at school and am now hoping to get my Slovak up to a workable level -- little but often.

Education
I grew up and went to school locally. I started at university in another field but then switched to languages. This included some time studying in the Netherlands, besides France.
Experience / Qualifications
I previously tutored French in 1-to-1 setting, informally, in my local area.
During my year abroad I worked at a French business school.
