Primary School - 11+ and SATs. GCSE - Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics. A-level Tutoring in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.
From 26 £ /h
Biology Chemistry and Mathematics are all hard subjects at GCSE and A-level. I hope to cover the whole specification to identify students' weaknesses, then focus time on these topics through example questions and walk-throughs. I then use past paper questions so the student can consolidate their learning through exam-style questions.

About Me
I am currently a Gap year student who hopes to study Medicine next year. I enjoy Science and Mathematics as academic subjects but also have a passion for music and dance. I have managed to maintain academics alongside my achievements listed in the skills proving my hard work and dedication.
My teaching style includes explaining topics initially so students get a sound understanding and answering any potential questions then using exam questions to consolidate students learning.

Experience / Qualifications
Private tutor
I have taught GCSE chemistry and physics and have had a success rate of 7-9. I have learnt how to approach students differently and tailor my learning to what works for them.
Tutor for Wycombe High School
I am an exstudent at Wycombe High School and tutor students in their weaker subjects. I mainly tutor mathematics at GCSE level and am able to spend time going through topics students don’t understand.
Maths Challenges
Completed additional challenges (UKMT) achieving Gold and participating in the Kangaroo which is the next round. These involve analytical approaches and demonstrate my ability to problem-solve, and I hope to pass on this enthusiasm to the students I tutor. Through these extra challenges, I have learnt beyond the specification.
Peer Mentor/Antibullying leader
At school, I had the opportunity to take on a role as a peer mentor where I was able to support my peers in difficult situations. My role as an anti-bullying leader developed my social and leadership skills I have built relationships with fellow students and staff through both these opportunities, and I hope to be able to use the same interpersonal skills to form more good relationships.
Duke of Edinburgh
For my volunteering section, I mentored a younger student with Mathematics.
