Hello everyone!

My name is Francesco, and I am a classical guitar teacher with over 20 years of experience in guitar education. My lessons are personalized and tailored to all levels, from beginners to advanced players, with a special focus on classical guitar technique and performance. I offer a customized approach based on your specific musical needs and goals, whether you want to master the classical repertoire, improve your technique, or explore the beauty of ensemble music. My teaching integrates both traditional methods and modern concepts, with a strong emphasis on musical expression and interpretation.

With over 20 years of teaching experience, a Master's in Performance, a Master's in Pedagogy, and a Doctorate in Musicology, I offer structured yet flexible lessons in French, English, Italian, and German. Each lesson is designed to support your unique musical journey, with a focus on refining your technical skills, deepening your understanding of music theory, and enhancing your performance abilities.

The lessons include warm-ups, repertoire study, and personalized guidance on technique, interpretation, and musicality. My lessons are usually in 1 hour; even 1 hour 30 depending on the relative intensity of each. I am demanding with my students but without pressure. I want to teach this discipline to make it a passionate way of life.

As a Master’s student in medical biology, I have been playing piano and guitar for 18 years. I can explain to you the musical theory that allows you to understand a piece on which you want to improvise or to understand the idea behind the composition of a piece. I can find you the chords of any song or piece and I have examples of songs whose chords search is particularly interesting. I can teach you classical music and jazz.
I use a piano that provides an automated and complete accompaniment, that is to say that we can play as with a band with a drummer and musicians of any style. This is very convenient.
I also have recordings of impro funk or hip-hop patterns that are what you might call "fire" to learn to improvise with pleasure.
I took classes at the school of jazz and current music for about ten years and had some bands, concerts and jams at the university. I was also a member of the Lausanne University Choir.

My training took place in many schools, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Italy at the Conservatory of Cagliari with all the points and honors, in Paris at the "Schola Cantorum" I obtained a higher diploma with the maximum mention "Very good to the humanity of the jury" and I hold a Master's degree in piano obtained at the HEMU in Lausanne in the class of Mr. Jean - François Antonioli.

I give between 60 and 70 concerts per year.
I also have several experiences as a musician, producer and composer in professional studios in France, Norway and Switzerland.

Today, I want to share my experience with you and pass on what I have learned and what I am learning!

- I base my teaching on listening and adapt to the desires and needs of the student, placing the notion of pleasure at the forefront. I use sheet music, tabs and various types of exercises to approach the instrument and music from several angles.
