My approach to tutoring focuses on helping students genuinely understand topics before memorising information. We can work through school content, past papers or focus on specific topics you are struggling with. I want all my students to feel comfortable to ask any questions and learn at their own pace ensuring tutoring is as effective as possible with no pressure or judgement.

As I am currently a student myself I understand the importance of effective revision and exam preparation. Once a topic is understood, I reinforce learning through practice questions and past paper questions, helping students develop their exam technique and learn how to structure answers to gain maximum marks.

I also offer mock exams, which I can mark and provide feedback on to identify strengths and areas for improvement. This helps students track their progress and focus their revision where it is needed most.

Lessons typically last one hour, allowing enough time to explain concepts, check understanding and practise exam questions while keeping students focused. Part of the class is dedicated to explaining and simplifying the topic in discussion, and another part is always allocated to reviewing past papers together until the student is 100% confident about the topic. I assign short homework tasks ( few selected past paper questions) to encourage them to practice the topic on their own.
