About Me

I am an enthusiastic and hardworking ESL teacher who loves to work with all kind of learners. As an ESL
teacher, my area of interests is language acquisition, vocabulary teaching and learning, and reading comprehension.
Personally, I do believe that every single person on the globe should have the opportunity to be educated as it happens elsewhere. At the very beginning of my journey, while I was striving to decide what to do after graduating from high school the things I was believing in enlightened me and I came up with the decision of becoming an ESL teacher. This class is tailored for people who have zero or limited knowledge in Indonesian. The focus will be on reading and speaking as I believe to be the most crucial parts in learning a language. Listening and writing are also possible if desired.

If you are an absolute beginner, don't worry, I have been told that I am quite a good talker and a patient teacher. Studying with me will be fun and not as strict as in the other institutions (unless you want it to be, of course). If you are looking for a tutor for your children, I can accommodate it by teaching it in a fun way; mixing it in interactive games throughout the lesson. This training day is for anyone (minimum HAVO/HBO) who wants to refresh their knowledge of Dutch spelling. All difficult matters such as all/all, their/them, that/what, the correct spelling of compounds as well as a short repetition of the verb spelling are discussed. At the end of this day you will be fully aware of the spelling rules of Dutch and you can communicate in writing with peace of mind, both privately and at work. The day is fully arranged (including unlimited coffee/tea, water and soft drinks, in the afternoon a delicious lunch) and specific teaching materials. The course takes place in a prime location, within walking distance of Leiden Central Station, in a small group of a minimum of four to a maximum of ten people.
