I am a musician with extensive experience in teaching various musical instruments, as well as directing choirs and ensembles. Over the last ten years, I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages and levels in different schools and music academies. My pedagogical approach focuses on the comprehensive development of my students, promoting their creativity, artistic expression and sense of responsibility. I firmly believe in the importance of providing students with the necessary tools so that they can develop their full musical and personal potential. Additionally, I have a solid academic background in music, having obtained a bachelor's degree in instrumental performance and a master's degree in music education. I am committed to my own continuing education and constantly look for new ways to enrich my teaching practice.

To learn an instrument from scratch you must know the basics of music (musical notes, scales, treble clef, bass clef...etc). If you already have this knowledge, great. If you don't, great too, I'm here to teach you. After knowing this basics, we will be ready to use the keyboard without being so lost, knowing what we are playing. In this way, the student can learn to improvise, to create meaningful melodies, and to make mistakes as well. In music, anything goes. The course also adapts to the student's requests. If you prefer to learn songs that you like, we can do so, but be careful: first you have to know the basics of the piano, so that it won't be difficult for you to learn your favorite song. Above all, what matters in this course is that music is learned in a different way than the conventional one, and that we leave class with a smile, knowing that we will see each other again, to learn more useful things.

My mission as a teacher is to transmit my love for music through everything I have learned throughout my studies in the last 20 years. I have experience since 2016 with individuals, colleges and schools, starting with students from scratch and also offering complementary reinforcement classes to their studies at the conservatory or school. My classes are completely adapted to the level and objectives of each student, getting to know them and trying to fully adjust to their concerns, their work rate and their personality. My teaching method is adapted to the curriculum of professional conservatories, my classes being a good option to support and reinforce the subject. For the musical initiation classes with the little ones, we begin with rhythm and height identification games, as well as proposing a first approach to music through singing and body percussion.

I have a degree in Primary Education Teaching and I have been giving private classes for more than 7 years, both at home and in the academy and, more recently, also online. During the last year I was responsible for extracurricular activities in a center in Cantabria at the same time that I gave private classes to ESO students. In addition to having a degree in Primary Education, I have the A1 certificate in Spanish Sign Language. I am currently preparing the exam to obtain the CAE (C1 Advance) certification in English. In addition, I am a professional musician with 20 years of experience and I offer classes in Ukulele, Guitar, Composition and Drums / Percussion I offer individual face-to-face classes and small groups. However, and given the situation caused by COVID-19, I also offer online classes, in which, in addition to offering individualized support, I promote the use of information and communication technologies as a tool for self-learning.

My aim in teaching is to enable the student to experience the beauty, richness and also the fun side of music, by helping to develop the technical skills needed to express oneself on the violin. I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies).
