About Me
I'm an Italian classical pianist born and raised in Rome, Italy, and I have spent the past 11 years in Sydney, Australia. I have recently relocated to beautiful Madrid and am excited to continue my piano tuition here, building on my strong experience in English, Italian, and Spanish music teaching.I have first started to play at the age of 5 and I have further developed her technique at the “Santa Cecilia National Academy” in Rome. I've graduated from the “Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music” (ABRSM), a London-based international Conservatorium. I have performed in Rome, Sydney, and many other cities. I have held a number of conferences on topics concerning music and opera, and I have performed many times at the Sydney Parliament as a soloist, under the aegis of the Red Cross Red Ribbon Committee, with the aim of raising funds for charity purposes.
I have successfully taught numerous students who needed a hand for their exams, while my professional experience focuses on both piano tuition and musical performance, with a repertoire of baroque, classical, romantic and contemporary music.

Piano and performance classes for all levels! In this course you will learn to understand your body through music. To play piano we need more than our fingers, you will learn to feel your body, the relaxation that passes through it and the necessary movements you must make to be able to properly play the piano.
You will also learn a lot about each era, starting from the Baroque to today. You will be able to see how each era is unique and the way of seeing and feeling music in each of them.
You will learn many ways to study, so that you can continue at home alone with the certainty of doing well.
We will learn together, because I am convinced that teaching is a way of learning too.
Facundo
Piano and music composition Create your own songs!Do you want to learn how to compose a song from scratch? Did you know that with just a few chords you can create beautiful melodies? My name is Facundo and I am a pianist, guitarist and singer-songwriter who wants to share with you the method that he has taught me during the 15 years that I have been playing and composing music.
Please note that in this course you will not learn musical language and theory in a monotonous and robotic way. Music, like speech, is learned by absorbing and imitating. And the talent of musical composition is exploited.
For this reason, I invite you to build a song through entertaining and useful dynamics that will teach you how to manipulate the piano without having to read a score. Of course, with effort, dedication and discipline. The basis of my musical composition and piano course is in the melody, nowadays so underestimated, so that from it you can structure your entire musical piece.
Shall we start?

Piano, musical language, composition, harmony and analysisIt is never too late to enjoy music. There are thousands of ways in which a person can enter this wonderful world, either through a more practical approach, playing a musical instrument; or with a more theoretical approach, learning harmony, analysis and composition.

My purpose is that you learn to play in a way that is both enjoyable and, of course, productive in order to achieve self-sufficiency with years of practice.
We will set a work rhythm that will vary depending on the time available to practice during the week and the abilities and age of the student. I demand work to get results but I also try to make my classes dynamic and entertaining; I think that vitality and motivation go hand in hand with artistic creation and training and, above all, that art must be made with passion.
If you have any questions, you can contact me to see what we need to work on or consult the different modalities.

I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student.
My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

Classical piano and musicianship: interpretation, practice and performanceThe purpose of this course is to help students develop their musical sensibility as (classical) pianists. Whether it be online or in person-- though in person is preferred, as it makes teaching more engaging--, classes will consist of a play-through of a specific repertoire followed by advice on technique, interpretation and practice methods. The students can bring their own pieces to play or I can provide some myself, and the goal will be to ensure that this is played faithfully with respect to the score, but most importantly, musically, and in this way to rapidly but securely build repertoire.

Cheslava
Piano and Singing tutor with 5 years experience and professional educationFrom my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons,
cultural studies.
During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant.
My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis).
So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.

Piano lessons for all levels and ages. Relaxed teaching approach!I have over 12 years of teaching experience and I have been working as a Professional Pianist for 7 years now, in 8 different countries (Switzerland, Austria, Iceland, Spain etc.) and on Luxury Cruise Ships (Worldwide).
I can show you how to have fun with the piano. If you're a beginner, I can take you right from step one and have you playing familiar songs by the 1st or 2nd lesson. If you already have some experience, I can add to it.
My main goal is helping you achieving your goals and preparing the best lesson for you!
I've been playing and studying piano since age 6 (over 25 years ago). I began with classical music, and later added Ragtime, Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, and Chord theory.
I earned a Bachelor Degree in Piano Performance, Classical Music (4 years). I have participated in numerous Piano Masterclasses in Europe and I studied with great pianists. I still learn from different Highly Accomplished Musicians, I believe learning never stops.
I have much to share with my students.
TEACHING STYLE
I am a very patient teacher. I love teaching all ages. I don't teach everyone the same way. I tailor lessons according to individual goals and needs. I insist on the importance of technique and musicality.
I also guide all my students even outside of the teaching time, by responding to all their questions (music theory or technical) and sending them videos.
I teach how to prevent Piano Injuries by focusing on proper technique, posture, and practice habits.
My professional experience includes coaching students of all levels and ages. I successfully prepared the students with their Piano Exams like ABRSM, Trinity Grade, from grade 1-8, with merits and distinctions, and more advanced exams as well (Performance Diplomas).
I teach for the Enjoyment of Music as well. I believe you can learn to play the piano at any age. My oldest student is over 75 years old and my youngest one has 3 years old. They made great progress, I am sure you could do the same.
I've never met anyone who didn't have musical abilities! You can be a serious or a recreational player. The only requirement is the willingness to spend some time at the piano.
I conduct my lessons using a combination of 4 cameras for optimum visibility, and a quality microphone which my students find very helpful. This allows them to see a very clear visual demonstration alongside my verbal explanation.
I can confidently say that Online Lessons are the same as In-Person Lessons.
CURRICULUM
I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years.
For beginners I like to use Alfred method books for basics concepts and for Classical and Jazz Piano technique I like to use ABRSM books (grade 1-8). If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs.
Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible.
I like to clearly explain and demonstrate piano technique. In this way, the students are able to apply the information on similar passages from all genres of music.
Piano/Keyboard - Alfred , Hal Leonard, Abrsm Grade (1-8), Trinity Grade (1-8), Hanon etc.
