This class is for anyone interested in learning the guitar, from absolute beginners to more advanced players looking to further improve their playing.

I teach all styles of music from classical and jazz to pop and rock. I teach chords, lead guitar, songs, improvisation, music theory and much more. My lessons are tailored for my students. I teach whatever they want to learn, but will be able to prepare lessons for anyone not sure where they want to go. I also teach grades such as ABRSM and Rockschool. On top of this, I also teach bass guitar.

I have been playing for fifteen years andteaching and performing around the UK for ten years.

My name's Luca and I've been a full-time professional musician for the past 10 years. I mainly work as a session musician and recording artist/producer, and also as a private guitar tutor.
My goal when it comes to teaching is to share my knowledge and passion for music and to help you improving and having as much enjoyment from it as I have for it.

I base my lessons on my student’s ambitions and on their weaknesses, so they can improve quickly and efficiently, without loosing interest on the instrument, and so they can reach their goals, giving them a personalised lesson plan, having fun and playing different styles and techniques. One of the parts of teaching I most enjoy is the variety of my students’ backgrounds and finding an individual approach that works best for each student. I always do my best to create a supportive, stress-free environment so that the students can have a really fun time learning, while encouraging them to expand their capabilities at a pace that suits them best.

Two keywords form the base of the singing technique I teach: relaxation and engagement. Inspired by the Alexander technique, we need the body to be completely free from any muscle tension before and after producing a sound. Then, to create a sound of quality, the body also needs to be engaged and free. By releasing all the unnecessary tension, you will be able to sing all the arias of your dreams. I will give some weekly exercises in singing and music theory and we will correct them together during the lesson.
I was part of the choir of the French public radio broadcaster for 7 years. I have a diploma in Music theory from the CRR of Boulogne-Billancourt. I even have a degree in Pop music and I am currently finishing my Master's in musical theatre and composition.

My professional life since obtaining my higher diploma from the conservatory has been full filled as pianist soloist, accompanist (lyrical singers, instrumental, ballet) and teacher. Settled for many years on the French Riviera (l'm bilingual) and moved in London during 2015, l weekly perform and l teach to any level. My repertoire is obviously classical but also my daily job is playing for Corporate Event, Dinner Presentations, Cocktails Party and Art Galleries .
