About Me

I’ve been playing guitar for 6 years and have spent 5.5 of those years being formally taught, which has given me a strong technical foundation and a deep understanding of music theory. Over time, I’ve developed a real passion for teaching and sharing what I’ve learned with others in a clear, practical way.

My playing style is rooted in blues and rock, but I also enjoy exploring pop and even heavier metal tones when I want something more intense and expressive. I have a solid grasp of scales, chord construction, rhythm, and songwriting concepts, and I like to make theory feel simple and usable rather than overwhelming.

As a young and enthusiastic musician, I bring energy and patience to my teaching, aiming to help students build confidence, improve quickly, and enjoy the process of learning guitar.

Also, these kids were invited to participate to the Juilliard School festival, with masterclass and lessons, a fabulous chance and experience that I wish all young pianists could have!

On Sept 1st 2024 three awarded students of mine were invited to perform at The DiMenna Classical Centre of Music in Manhattan, from another American competition, the International Youth Music Competition.

I wish I can always bring such great opportunities and successes to all of my "piano kids"!

Being a singer and a singing teacher, many many times I have found myself in the situation of having to work on ear training, or solfège, or music theory... or all the above listed!
Approaching music and having no clue of these elements can totally be intimidating and off-putting, but with the right guidance and the correct practice, I’m sure you will learn in no time! I want to prove to you that building this basic knowledge can be easy, accessible, and not heavy at all.
My program is not fixed: I’ll build it on your specific needs, whether they are preparing an exam, curiosity, or getting better at pitch matching... we will discuss it together. I have many books and materials, and I honestly prefer to draw blackboards by myself a lot of times. Unless you want to, I won’t ask you to buy any material, so the only cost that you will have to sustain is for the time of the class.

You will build a solid foundation in guitar playing through carefully selected songs that you get to choose from. Once you get the hang of the fundamentals, you get to tell me which songs you want to learn during our lessons to expand your skills and become more proficient, and I will teach you how to read and play your favorite songs like a master! After learning the more common chords and basics of guitar playing, you will learn about strumming patterns, finger picking, and tabs through the songs of your choice. I offer individual violin lessons for beginners, advanced players and music students.

My particular focus is on Baroque music and historically informed performance practice. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music.
