Science, Maths and Test Prep Tutoring for GCSE and A-level students
I specialise in science and maths tutoring for GCSE and A-level students, or for anyone looking to further their knowledge in these areas.
I am experienced in tutoring virtually as well as in person. I aim to challenge my students whilst helping to grow their confidence in these areas. I also give revision tips and strategies for answering exam questions.
In the first session, we will put together a list of topics that the student finds most challenging and would like to cover. In the following tutorials, I will spend the first half explaining the topic, particularly tackling any particular issues that the student would like to go through with this topic. In the next half of the session, we will go through exam questions together and the student can ask me any questions that they may have from work set in the classroom. I will prepare the tutorials in advance with the aim of including helpful diagrams, notes and examples to go through in the sessions, I also include a copy of the specification for that topic, highlighting any key points. I set a couple of homework questions after the tutorial sessions in order to consolidate what we covered in the session. I will include my copy of the answers, but if they have any questions or problems we can sort them out in the next tutorial. Where possible, I will also try and give some ‘real life context’ to topics and questions, in order to demonstrate their importance and to inspire my students!

About Me
I graduated from the University of York in 2020 with an upper second class honours BSc in chemistry, specifying in biological and medicinal chemistry. I have tutored science and maths online since I started university and I am experienced at teaching and communicating virtually. I completed my dissertation researching a type of personalized cancer treatment which inhibits a critical part of the cancel cell growth cycle. I believe that chemistry is an integral subject which combines all of the sciences to explain many of the fundamental principles in science. I would love to share my passion for science and help you to achieve high grades in your exams by finding the right method of learning for you!Education

11+ (Kent Test) Tuition for Both Students and Parents
The 11+ (or Kent Test as it is also known) can be a daunting prospect for both students and parents. However, as a trained teacher with years of experience in preparing students for the 11+, I am here to prove it can be really fun to study and there's no reason to feel overwhelmed.
I use a variety of methods to help students learn and prepare with fun games, tasks and both practical and mental activities. To enable me to help my students, I divise a plan for each individual dependent on their learning and understanding of the subject at hand, adjusting the learning and schedule as necessary.

A Maths teacher teaches Maths, Algebra and Geometry
An experienced teacher at your disposal for:
- Methodology adapted to all levels.
- Upgrading.
- Consolidation of achievements.
- Preparation for an examination / competition (CEB, CE1D, CESS.etc).
- Help with homework and lessons.
- Complementary exercises and review as controls and exams approach.
- Advice and supervision at the level of working methods.
- Recommended teaching methods.
Currently, I am doing my maths aggregation. I am already an electromechanical engineer, graduated as a senior technician in electronics and electrical engineering and who passed my bachelor's degree in mathematics with honors. I teach in different technical fields and especially mathematics, algebra and electronics.
At the level of my teaching methods, I use those that are advised pedagogically, I always try to explain and detail as much as possible the courses and I do not pass to the following stages until after making sure that the student understood what I explained.
As a teacher, I already have a good experience teaching with students for 6 years. What is certain, I make sure to always go as far as possible to explain the exercises.

Christian
Tutoring Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics (exact subjects).
I am Christian, graduated in chemistry from the University of Utrecht (Biomolecular sciences), and have a PhD in developmental biology (PhD). In the meantime I have been providing tutoring and exam training in mathematics, chemistry and physics to HAVO and VWO students, but also to HBO and Cambridge international A-level students. And, maybe I can help you too!
Classes are mainly taught online, but do so in a personal and lively way. For example, I use a marker and whiteboard, so that the atmosphere is comparable to if I were at your house. There are various reasons why a student would like to receive tutoring, and everyone has their own way of learning. I am always very involved with the student's goals and progress, and I am personally optimistic and approachable by nature. My experience is that a safe and motivating atmosphere is created during the lessons, which is contagious and in addition to understanding the material, I also see the self-confidence growing in students.
In addition to tutoring, I am a part-time artist (painter and musician), and perhaps my creative, enthusiastic attitude seeps through in how I view science subjects. Sometimes science subjects are experienced as heavy, difficult, boring or rigid. Or maybe you were unlucky with a teacher who couldn't or can't show you the fun in it. You will find that when you understand more about it, you will enjoy it more and you can also get good grades.
I'd love to get to know you!

Excellence Math, Physics, Chemistry - 19 average - New program 2022
Give your child the future he deserves.
Graduated from Arts et Métiers ParisTech / 20/20 in mathematics at the Bac / preparatory class / Private teacher for 10 years
Do you want to significantly increase your child's mathematical average?
Do you want it to integrate a selective course?
Do you want it to become autonomous?
For 5 years, I have helped more than 30 French students in difficulty from middle school (sixth, fifth, fourth, third) and high school (second, first, final) to achieve their goals (good average, patent, bac, PREPA) and to regain self-confidence.
My method in 3 points:
- short term,
significantly increase the average by assimilating the course and preparing for the next tests (assimilating the course, writing sheets, training in standard exercises, anticipating the teacher's expectations and test questions, having writing methods)
- medium term,
integrate reasoning and working methods (learn to work regularly in this order: assimilation, training exercise, test preparation and test analysis passes)
- long-term,
set a goal, build the steps to achieve this goal, become aware of the SIMPLICITY of math, have confidence in your abilities, unlock your potential)
The formula: one or two sessions of 1h30/2h per week for the assimilation of the course and to prepare for the test.
- Classes on Google Meet
- Virtual whiteboard to assimilate faster
- Library of 10 books online
- More than 1000 exos online

Maths Complete Supervision: Courses and Exercises Evaluations, all levels
Mathematics, a discipline that requires a lot of skill and rigor from an early age, is our focal point par excellence for forging scientists. Likewise the physical sciences which are the applications of the first gray of the sciences. I am an experienced Mathematics teacher in middle and secondary education with more than 10 years of experience. I have taken up several challenges with students losing their bearings or lacking self-confidence with distance school supervision. Teaching science is a profession of passion, a burden that is very unpassionate to us. I am very available and very attached to the smiles of a student and his parents filled with joy by satisfaction. At your disposal to take up major challenges.
Thank you
Victor
Private lessons in Maths and Statistics - English or Spanish
Hello, my name is Víctor and I am graduated in Mathematics with a Master's Degree in Applied Statistics.
Mathematics is a huge science area and I consider that a way to understand the maths and its complexity is throw exercises. However, the first step is to know the theoretical aspects. The lessons will be organized in two parts: the first one will be theoretical and the second one practical. The objective is to have a quick view of the theory applied in each exercise in order to be able to use it in similar exercise.

Maths Elementary/secondary classes and homework help/school support
I am a student at the Polyvalent Lycée les Fontenelles, being passionate about mathematics and computer science, I think I can provide academic support to the youngest and teach them concepts that they have not seen or have seen very little.
It would be easier for me if you tell me what you want me to do (school support, homework help or course, if the request is about a course, specify the notion to learn / deepen)
