I specialise in GCSE and A level Physics. As an experience Physics Teacher ( 27 years) and an examiner for OCR and Edexcel/Pearson I offer detailed and precise tutoring to maximise your grades.
My lessons are focused on last paper questions so you are prepared as fully as possible. I use models/simulations and real life examples to help you develop a deep understanding of each topic.

I am a fully qualified science teacher (PGCE and QTS) at secondary school age, with a specialism in chemistry (BSc Chemistry degree from the University of Wolverhampton).
My goal is to tutor to the needs of the students with an initial lesson set on getting to know what the student requires from this service. I am fully qualified to teach all three sciences up to KS4 (GCSE or equivalent), and Chemistry as a specialism at KS5 (A-level or equivalent).
Homework will be kept to an absolute minimum (5-10 minute tasks that could be repeated throughout the week in the form of memory games etc) as I believe this tutoring service is proof enough of the work being done outside of school hours. Everyone deserves a break! My teaching style is very relaxed to reflect this, however I have plenty of experience teaching pupils of a very high level so can easily push you to achieve your greatest potential.

I cater to the individuals learning style as some people are more theoretical and prefer a test like environment whereas others need more of a hands on approach that is based around fun learning.

Each lesson provides a one to one environment that aims to support young people with their journey through education and hopefully watch them grow and flourish as they become more confident in their abilities.
