Having played this instrument since I was a child, I offer piano and music theory lessons. I offer personalized and effective teaching. My classes are designed for everyone, from beginners to intermediate level, ages 6 and up. I started giving lessons several years ago, both to children and to adults wanting to learn or resume the piano. My classes are dynamic and fun. The teaching is based on learning a varied repertoire, based on the student's needs and requests. To complement the learning and increase motivation, I regularly organize concerts. These opportunities allow everyone to perform in public and share their passion with others, in a warm and stimulating environment. I am an independent teacher declared SAP (school support or private lessons at home) and I have the authorization that allows my students to benefit from the Immediate Advance. This is a new optional and free service (offered by URSSAF in the context of personal services) directly deducting the tax credit of 50% of the amount invoiced. Everyone is entitled to it, active or retired. The price indicated takes into account the reduction or tax credit of 50%. With Avance Immédiate, you will only pay this price without advancing the "tax credit" part. I will take care of the URSSAF declarations and the payment of contributions each month. My in-home piano lessons follow a solid method forged by extensive teaching experience. I strive to tailor your journey to your dreams: mastering the classics from Haydn to Liszt, simply accompanying your voice, jazz/blues improvisation, etc. By default, my method is structured in two distinct parts addressed together or separately: - CLASSICAL PIANO: the teaching method adopted here corresponds to that provided at the conservatory. Music scores have a fundamental importance. This requires learning music theory using several supports: one dedicated to reading notes in isolation, an application also dedicated to this work and a practical manual. Technique is also important for the good practice of classical music pieces, which is why you follow a whole progression of exercises designed to make you work on articulation, velocity, precision of touch. If the classical repertoire is demanding and rich, we can also play more popular music: films, video games, variety, ... PIANO JAZZ/BLUES/POP/VARIETY We work to make you a proactive player in your musical journey. This generally comes after a classical piano course. However, not everyone necessarily has the time or the desire to achieve excellence, especially for adult beginners or even more advanced players. You choose the music covered and develop your ear and your knowledge of the keyboard (simple concepts of harmony at the same time). The repertoire corresponds to current music. We can even move towards improvisation and improvement in this area for students already introduced to jazz or bues in particular. Intimidating and then quickly liberating, this approach allows you to develop a creative and personal musical practice. You are then able to improvise, compose, or even play with other musicians. This approach is based around 4 main axes.

I give piano and music theory lessons with my own method. The music theory part is not purely theoretical but always mixed with practice. My method emphasizes the deciphering of scores, given that the objective is to allow the student to be as independent as possible thereafter. It will also have a technical aspect, but I prefer to have her work directly with pieces rather than dry exercises. I also give lessons in harmony, counterpoint and composition for those who would like to go further.

Concertist cellist graduated from the crr of Paris, the Queen's School of Music (Madrid, Spain) and the Ecole Normale de Musique of Paris Alfred Cortot, gives cello lessons all levels, from the youngest to the oldest, we will work on the posture of the hands, the relationship between our body, our breath, in relation to the instrument, the goal is to give different tools combining technique and music (melodic phrase) so that the student can progress by himself and enjoy to what he does, help him develop his own musical ideas, whether amateur or professional in the making.

Former viola da gamba student at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (CNSMDP) and in Literary classe préparatoire with a music option at the Lycée Fénelon in Paris, I offer viola da gamba lessons. I have been teaching viola at the Conservatoire de Rueil-Malmaison (CRR) since 2019 and have been giving private lessons for many years. I teach both children and adults. I am a professional clarinetist myself, graduated from the Royal College of Music in London (Global No. 1 Institution for Performing Arts). I am currently pursuing my concert career between Paris and London. Between us the choice to become a clarinetist is admit the original! But why this instrument rather than another? I was hesitant myself when I started. I found the sax.. “cooler”. But I finally fell in love with the clarinet. This instrument offers an incredible variety of repertoire! First of all Classical Music: The clarinet developed at the same time as Mozart. The composer was immediately seduced by this new instrument with its soft, pearly sound; he fell in love with her and wrote a magnificent concerto for her (one of the most beautiful ;)). Subsequently, composers such as Weber, Schumann and Brahms will deploy all their knowledge and sensitivity to make the clarinet sing. Jazz: Since the appearance of this new genre, the clarinet reigns as a diva among instruments. Gershwin dedicated a legendary solo to him in “Rhapsody in Blue”. One of the common difficulties for beginners or intermediate students is not being able to manage the air well, running out of steam quickly and thus losing the pleasure of performing an entire piece. In reality, the clarinet does not require the endurance of a marathon runner, but just an appropriate breathing technique: I have therefore developed a method based on breathing exercises, the search for good posture (specific to each pupil) and physical relaxation (with the elimination of tensions and parasitic gestures). Hello everyone ! It is never too late to start the piano :) I teach you how to read American notes, learn chords, rhythm (work with a metronome), pedal, all in order to play with sensitivity the song of your choice. I start the first lessons with arpeggios, which promotes finger mobility and learning notes. Subsequently, we can work with Yann Tiersen (such as "La dispute", "nursery rhyme from another summer" or even "Porz Goret"). From the first lesson you will leave knowing how to play a song! The key is not to rush, work on the metronome and read the notes well. Possibility to sing at the same time. Thereafter, once the major / minor, flat chords are known and you start to familiarize yourself with the piano, I start each session with 20min of music theory (extremely important for reading classical notes). Little by little, we will move towards more complex composers such as Chopin or Mozart (such as Fantasia in D minor by Mozart, Nocturne in C minor by Chopin).

These lessons are for young and/or inexperienced singers. My lesson plans are tailored towards students' individual goals. For some, this may be learning and embodying an audition song for their school's upcoming theater performance, and for others voice lessons are a first step towards singing healthily in their church choir. In any case, I focus on correcting and building core skills necessary to singing one's best while encouraging and fostering creativity, accountability, and motivation. If considered for a long-term journey towards singing, I will focus particularly on classical techniques to build steady breath control, good posture, and proper vowel and consonant formation. Along with providing repertoire, if the student is ready and wants, there will be opportunities for vocal performance in the Santa Cruz area. I will encourage audio recordings in all lessons to help with future preparations. I will be assigning some homework after every lesson, likely a combination of vocalization exercises, dedicated sheet music practice, and theory homework (if needed). *My first lesson will involve getting to know the student, their goals, and some vocalization to assess vocal level. For singers with minimal/no prior foundational music theory knowledge, I may recommend time from lessons (15-30 minutes) being allocated solely towards foundational music theory learning.
