Throughout my four years of study in the “Dimitrie Paciurea” Art High School in Bucharest, I was able to study art in depth and in its various manifestations, and in doing so I was able to see the glimpses of the subconscious mind set as reflected in art.

My teaching method is based on communication and experience. By that I mean that, I approach my students with curiosity, promoting their researching abilities. Moreover, I deeply analyse and question the meanings of their chosen topics of inspiration, in order to offer a better understanding of the symbolic meaning behind their though process.

Likewise, I promote freedom of choice in their subjects with guidance throughout each project, and encourage originality and ingenuity. Thus allowing them to understand themselves on another level.
Subsequently, due to my experience in working with disabled children I have understood that the subconscious is present in any creative project hence why if I suspect that the child is going through some hard times I will immediately offer feedback to their parents.

Altogether, my final goal is to understand the hidden meaning of the hints left by the subconscious, through our day to day life, and inspire others to adventure in this journey
Extra information
Some of the materials will be provided by me (such as easels, supports, snacks and beverages, only when teaching occurs at my place) and the rest of the materials will be acquired together after the first lesson.

About Me
My capstone project included three paintings on canvas that pondered on the human psychological conditions and how they transform the actors’ lives. In addition, I studied and practiced painting outside of school from a very young age, including participating in numerous art exhibitions, which brought me even closer to see the reflections of the mind through the artistic process. These experiences and exposures have in turn fed my curiosity, and so I decided to study psychology alongside my art studies. Hence why I am currently undergoing preparations in order to start my undergraduate course in September.

Furthermore, I have been involved in numerous volunteer opportunities to help children with special needs. I was a volunteer with the Healthy Family Association-Small Ecologist Foundation (“Asociatia Familie Sanatoasa”) for 4 years, where I worked with children with special needs and their parents. Most importantly, I gained patience, compassion and an observant spirit, which will serve me well in a professional setting.

I am a Goldsmiths BA Fine art second year. I do paintings and scultings mainly and sculptural paintings. I love to understand and feel the materials and use the materialities' characteristics and histories to symbolise meanings in my work.

My class would be suitable for potential young childrens or teenagers who are interested in art or want to get into art. As art is the language for me, I would love my students to enjoy and show their creativity in my class and I would help them to develop and create actual works in real life.

There would be no pressure in this class I have experice of tutoring 10year old child and he was enjoying every class. He had ADHD and showed ADHD behaviours during class but as a neurodivergent person I gave him a breaks during classes and talked about his interests so I could figure out what he is interested in so I could prepare next class for him and at the same time the kid could had his little refreshment from doing art work. And I had 1:1 meetings with their parents because they wanted to know how it went and how he was behaving so I gave her a lot of feedbacks from my perspective (I did let her know it is from my perspective) .

My dream is to be an artist/ art professor(university tutor) as I also had mental health issues so I am aware of how to deal with people who should I take more care of and also as a neurodivergent person I could deal with neurodivergent students:)

My curriculum would be very personalised by students.

Hi there,

I'm Kim! I hope you’re well! Thanks for dropping by.

About the course:

I'm here to share all I've learned with students of all skill levels and age groups.

As with many things, the best way to learn is to do. I will therefore take you through the entire professional process of designing a character for an animated project - from the fundamentals of anatomy drawing, to the initial research stage to iteration sketches, all the way through to the final model sheets!

By the end, you will have created a memorable character that is unique, full of appeal, exuding personality, and ready to be animated. And you will have gained a valuable insight into the weird and wonderful world of professional character design.

---------------------------------

About me:

I am a professional character designer and illustrator from Australia, currently based in London, UK.

In 2019, I graduated with the Bachelor of Design in Animation with First Class Honours from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Since graduating, I have had the privilege of working as a character designer and animator on the Netflix animated series, ‘Adventure Beast,’ enjoyed a design internship with Cheeky Little Media, and have also had the pleasure of illustrating several children's picture books for Playtime Books.

These days, I am designing characters for Hey Daisy Moon, and have been tutoring character design, cartooning, and general drawing skills to students of all ages since 2021.

If you have a passion for bringing exciting characters to life, or just want to improve your drawing skills, I would love to help you achieve your goals! In any case, I wish you a wonderful day.

I understand how challenging it can be to master perspective, colour, and contrast, or to translate complex concepts into compelling visuals and clear projects, and I love helping others navigate that process. My goal is to help you grow your skills, strengthen your creative voice, and find joy and confidence in the act of drawing and designing.

I offer lessons for architecture and design students, or individual interested in design, who want to strengthen their visual communication skills through drawing and sketching, from foundational techniques to advanced architectural and landscape illustration.
I’m passionate about creating a supportive, judgement-free atmosphere where you can learn and experiment with confidence. My lessons are engaging and tailored to your individual needs, blending structured learning with creative exploration. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, my adaptable approach ensures you feel both comfortable and challenged.
With experience teaching languages, dance, and drawing, I focus on building a positive and effective learning experience, for adults and young adults, online or in person.

I can help you with:
- For architecture and design students: communicate your ideas clearly, develop visual thinking, and refine your portfolio, renders, and presentation skills.
- Architectural and landscape illustration: master perspective, light, and contrast to bring your drawings to life.
- Art journaling: explore creative sketching as a way to express ideas and document inspiration.

Write me if you have specific needs!
