I am a Goldsmiths BA Fine art second year. I do paintings and scultings mainly and sculptural paintings. I love to understand and feel the materials and use the materialities' characteristics and histories to symbolise meanings in my work. My class would be suitable for potential young childrens or teenagers who are interested in art or want to get into art. As art is the language for me, I would love my students to enjoy and show their creativity in my class and I would help them to develop and create actual works in real life. There would be no pressure in this class I have experice of tutoring 10year old child and he was enjoying every class. He had ADHD and showed ADHD behaviours during class but as a neurodivergent person I gave him a breaks during classes and talked about his interests so I could figure out what he is interested in so I could prepare next class for him and at the same time the kid could had his little refreshment from doing art work. And I had 1:1 meetings with their parents because they wanted to know how it went and how he was behaving so I gave her a lot of feedbacks from my perspective (I did let her know it is from my perspective) . My dream is to be an artist/ art professor(university tutor) as I also had mental health issues so I am aware of how to deal with people who should I take more care of and also as a neurodivergent person I could deal with neurodivergent students:) My curriculum would be very personalised by students. I am a painter, weaver and researcher currently doing a PhD in textile research for trauma recovery. For the past two years I have been on The Clothworkers Company of Weavers Award - developing my artistic practice at Cockpit Arts, London’s leading studios for contemporary crafts and the UK’s only business incubators for makers and designers. In 2019, I graduated from an MA in Weave at the Royal College of Art. Since them, I have been mentoring students with building their portfolio and undertake research. Alongside my practice, I also teach drawing and painting for all levels. Painting is an expression of a state of mind, emotions and sensations. With the right tools and skills, it can become your language. I help my students building their aesthetic and gain confidence whether it is for leisure or professional purposes. I sell my work on the online platform Zatista and have given talks on textile and mental health at the Craft Council. I am also part of a research project with the Craft Council and Creative Europe.

Tie and dye is an ancient global form of art that originated independently across various cultures, with the earliest examples dating back to the 5th–8th century AD in China, Japan, Peru, and India. Known as a form of "resist dyeing," it involves binding or folding fabric to prevent dye from reaching certain areas. In the Southwestern area of Nigeria it is called - "ADIRE". Every Art has its history - “Nothing exists without an origin” Adire is more than just a textile; it's a reflection of Nigeria’s civilization and culture. Each design is a testament to the rich heritage of our culture and nation.

Fine Art can be a confusing, and often inaccessible subject. However, creating and engaging with art can also be empowering once you have the understanding of contemporary art practises. It is my intention to engage both children and adults in creative play, and discussion, to create exciting lessons. Lessons will often be tailored towards the individual's interests, linking them to relevant artists and artistic practises. A wide range of materials and processes will be explored in the lessons, including painting, drawing, sculpture and digital art, allowing students to find their strengths. As a Fine Art and History of Art graduate it truly is my passion to ignite, distill, and grow a person's interests in Art, Design and Art History. I have experience in creating and teaching lessons for students of all ages, from 4 years of age up to adults. I also have experience tutoring GCSE and A-level students in the trickier aspects of a Fine Art qualification, where jumping through the hoops and tick the boxes that the exam boards require can often take the joy out of creating. My aim is to help students get the grade that truly reflects their engagement and enthusiasm for art, guiding them through the certain requirements that can often feel confusing or frustrating. Whatever level of understanding and ability the student may have, these lessons will be challenging, creative and rewarding.

Throughout my four years of study in the “Dimitrie Paciurea” Art High School in Bucharest, I was able to study art in depth and in its various manifestations, and in doing so I was able to see the glimpses of the subconscious mind set as reflected in art. My teaching method is based on communication and experience. By that I mean that, I approach my students with curiosity, promoting their researching abilities. Moreover, I deeply analyse and question the meanings of their chosen topics of inspiration, in order to offer a better understanding of the symbolic meaning behind their though process. Likewise, I promote freedom of choice in their subjects with guidance throughout each project, and encourage originality and ingenuity. Thus allowing them to understand themselves on another level. Subsequently, due to my experience in working with disabled children I have understood that the subconscious is present in any creative project hence why if I suspect that the child is going through some hard times I will immediately offer feedback to their parents. Altogether, my final goal is to understand the hidden meaning of the hints left by the subconscious, through our day to day life, and inspire others to adventure in this journey
