Basic geometric pattern is for anyone from any field of art. The pre-req that is required for the course is patience and resutltantly it will teach you versatile language of visual proportionality which will any art practiioner who is either working on 2D or 3D space or any kind of visual art. Geometry is not an art form it is tool to develop visual to understand art or space which we are enclosed around. Particularly in this we focus on Mughal and Alhambra's visual asthetics just to make the students to be focused. But will definitely understand in the initial classes that they will absorb lots different visuals which they are regularly around them. It is a tool to understand frames, depths and differents tillings. Students will learn the following via Demonstrations/ practical, Lectures: 1. Fundamental use of compass /Polygons and their jorgans 2. Drawing six-fold & four-fold geometric patterns, which have been used throughout Muslim traditional art; Use of isometric grids in Islamic geometric design/patterns 3. Understanding of different proportionalities of tessellations. 4. Learn to construct Platonic and Archmedian solids

With years of experience as a Teacher facilitating Art to children of all age groups in an inclusive education system in India comes a belief that ‘for creating Art, one has to go beyond the limitations of its technical terms’. I am an architectural assistant and hold a Masters degree in Architecture. Having a strong passion towards art and human behaviour has led me to shaping haptic spaces to enable a journey full of encounters. I believe our subconsciousness can be expressed through bodily movements that can initiate with the mere moment of grabbing a pencil or a brush. As a result, my class explores the poetry behind art and its essence. My teaching method revolves around finding an individual's inner characteristics and conveying this into an expressive art form. My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. During my class, different mediums will be tested to ignite creativity. As a result of my profession, my classes can involve digital design involving Photoshop and Illustrator. It is important to be able to understand both 2D and 3D forms and so, my teaching method can include both aspects.

I'm a Fine Art graduate from University of the Arts London (UAL) - I currently specialise in photography and videography. However I have taught a range of different art disciplines from painting, drawing, design, crafts and sculpture. On a regular basis I teach children from ages 4-11 but I have experience teaching teenagers and adults as well. During lessons we can focus on a particular discipline such as painting or drawing, work on a project that someone has already started in their own time or I can assist with portfolios or sketchbooks for GCSE/AS/A Levels/Foundation/Degree. These classes are for everyone, ranging from fun creative art play for younger years to older years wanting to learn a new skill or develop a hobby. Having the ability to be creative and explore art is so beneficial for both children and adults and I aim to make my lessons as supportive, fun, engaging and positive as possible.

I can take you through the basics of creating that extra lighting glow on a water colour painting or making that raw emotional texture given off of a hand made lino print. I have run many workshops in willow bending and willow sculpture making and so also offer classes in this fabulous art form. I can offer creative guidance and tuition on most art forms ranging from Wood work to drawing and so can offer tutorial sessions based on your creative wants or desires. Your first class would therefore be based on gathering an idea of what creative process you would like to focus on and then building your creativity from there.
