English and Italian classes (speaking, reading and writing)
From 26 £ /h
Being Anglo-Norwegian but having grown up in Italy I realise how fortunate I am to have had a bilingual upbringing. Mastering a new language presents many benefits from strengthening cognitive abilities to providing more job opportunities or simply making travel easier and more fun.
My courses in English or Italian are tailor-made to suit the student's needs and expectations. Creative and interesting classes will cover the fundamental language skills of speaking, reading and writing. Students can work on improving their English or Italian in their field of study or interest. Below are some of the skills students can acquire in my classes:
Speaking - improve pronunciation and practice conversation strategies
Reading - develop vocabulary and reading strategies
Writing - confidently use grammatical patterns and sentence constructions to write clear, coherent and well developed paragraphs

Experience / Qualifications
I began tutoring English to Italian children and young adults when I was 16, adjusting the lessons to the age and interests of my students and coming up with fun activities to make
the experience more enjoyable and effective.
When I moved to the Netherlands for my undergraduate degree I tutored English and Italian to students of all ages and nationalities.
In 2018 I worked at a translater and on-site interpreter (Italian to English, English to Italian) for a Norwegian reality television show, På tur Med Dag Otto.
