I am Youness, a Civil Engineering graduate from the U.K. with a passion for maths, mechanics, and statistics. I have been teaching Maths and Physics from Primary, Secondary, and High School levels for almost 8 years. I specialise in Mathematics and use visual and audio ways to teach my lessons. I have strong experience in preparing students for GCSE (secondary school) and can use CGP and online textbooks to revise and prepare properly. At GCSE level, you will learn algebra, geometry, probability, trigonometry, and receive practice answering long and short questions.

I have created this class to examine the rules of math, and you will gain a deep understanding of the purpose of math, as well as a slow and steady pace to take you at a comfortable speed. We will structure our work based on the student’s request. If the goal is to improve school grades and gain a better understanding of the school curriculum in mathematics, we will review the topics covered in class during our lessons. We will focus on the areas that are most challenging and unclear. Throughout the lesson, we will go through typical tasks from the classroom. If the student wants to improve their general understanding of mathematics, we will create a personalized lesson plan and follow it. I truly think learning Spanish has to be enjoyable and challenging (positively) and my aim is to create a fun and positive learning environment in which you can really thrive, feel confident and tranquilo. I like to approach my students to grammar structures and cultural comprehension of the language by a variety of methods and sources such as images, videos, interviews, audios, etc. and adjust exercises of reading, listening and conversation to topics related to their particular interests and personal motivations.

My lessons are highly personalised, with an emphasis on cultivating a general enthusiasm and love for science and reaching exam technique proficiency. Additionally, we will do lots of past papers, especially if you want to prepare for a specific examination. We are going to keep track of your level and mark your improvements session by session. During our sessions, we can focus on different areas of Maths according to your needs, from Algebra and Calculus to Statistics and Probability. Additionally, we can work on exam taking techniques such as Time Management and how to practice effectively for an exam. Maths and science are among the most useful topics in the world today. And yet, rather frustratingly, these topics remain rather incomprehensible for many students (with a good majority finding them extremely difficult) With my sessions I do my best to make both maths and science as engaging and enjoyable as possible. The main goal is not just to overload students with information but also to try to gain some insight into the both topics - hopefully students will come out of lessons much better at science and with an appreciation for how weird and wonderful the world truly is

I have an 8 in IGCSE Mathematics and an A at A-Level. I have also recently finished my degree in Economics and Econometrics at the University of York where I got a 1:1 which included me ranking first and second in my cohort for three of my mathematics-based modules. I'm able to teach anything up to A-Level pure mathematics, whether its for revising over the summer or to get ahead for the new year.

I have been teaching Italian for more than 30 years. I started in Milan, I then went to San Francisco and now here in London. My first lesson with you would be to assess your level and start speaking Italian by writing in the chat if we are on Skype or on your notebook if we meet face to face. I use also paintings to explore vocabulary and if you live here in London, we would meet at the National Gallery for example and explore the Italian language through what we see in the painting.
