1-1 Guitar and Music Theory Tuition - Online or In Person

Nathan has been playing Guitar and studying Music for over 15 years, from Primary School right through to the current day in University. Beginning just under a year ago, Nathan has thoroughly enjoyed passing on his enthusiasm and passion for Guitar and Music alike through tutoring. Nathan has several qualifications in Music, including GCSE, A Level and First Class honours in Musical Arts (BA) and, starting with a Masters, he hopes to add to these qualifications in the future. Nathan’s teaching style revolves around his students and therefore adapts to the different students he is teaching, considering their skill level, age and personality when approaching each lesson. Alongside teaching, Nathan is hugely passionate about playing in his Function Band, recording and mixing songs and of course listening to music almost none stop.

Nathan teaches Guitar from beginners to intermediate level players and teaches Music Theory up to grade 5 of all ages. Nathan’s lessons include breaking down the fundamentals of both guitar ad theory, from posture, fingering technique, scales, arpeggios, chords, rhythm, melody and anything else the student wishes to learn. He will teach any exam boards requested, preparing his students for their respective exams by breaking down each technical component previously mentioned with specific focus given to each section of the exam. Whether the student wishes to focus on melody, rhythm, chords or just playing their favourite band’s songs, he will devote all his energy to providing the required tutoring in helping his students fulfil these wishes, whilst enjoying themselves in the process.

Nathan will give his all to teaching as many genres as he possibly can, although has vast experience in classical and pop music, particularly Funk, Rock and Jazz. His first lesson with any student will be relaxed, with the aim of figuring out the students skill level and what they wish to achieve through their lessons. The student simply needs to let Nathan know their priorities in terms of what they wish to learn and their enthusiasm in achieving this. It is common for Nathan to prepare warm-up exercises for his students, such as stretching exercises for the wrists and hands, along with exercises to develop the technique of each hand, for example finger/plectrum exercises and chromatic scales.

Piano Lessons with the Best Colombian Young Pianist!
Considered “Best Colombian Young Pianist 2018” after winning the first prize in the national piano competition in Colombia. I have a Master's degree from Liszt Ferenc in Budapest, Hungary, and a Master's degree from Columbus State University in the United States. Besides my career as a pianist, I have over 10 years of experience in teaching Piano, music theory, and history for all ages and categories. Even if you are a beginner we can do it. I have a personal method where I combine both classical and commercial repertoire depending on the student’s preferences. I usually play four hands with my students as well and organize at least one concert a year with all my students where they can meet and share their experiences. If you are an enthusiast about Piano and competitions, we can also work on that together, I will guide you through all the steps and support you all the way, we can also play together.

Classes of singing jazz, pop and all other kinds of modern music in Copenhagen
Aleksandra is a trained singer, singing teacher and choir conductor from the Academy of Music in Gdansk and Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in Barcelona. She took to the stage in her childhood and has been teaching music for the last 6 years. For several years she was a chorister of the prestigious Polish National Youth Choir and leader of Vocal Quintet Solifonia. Currently, she is a choir conductor and the founder of CHOIR CLUB in Korskolen. What can you expect from her teaching? She believes that singing can be passion, a communication tool, a means of therapy and so much more: more than you can imagine! In her classes, you will learn key vocal techniques as well as learning to understand your voice. You will discover the deeper meanings of the songs you sing as you seek to express them to the world. As she is working towards becoming an Accredited Teacher of IVTOM (International Voice Teachers of Mix) she focuses on delivering teaching based on the Mix principles: by mixing the chest and head voice you receive the full benefits of “both voices”: the natural and powerful sound of the chest voice, and the beauty and range of the head voice. As a singer learns to sing using both of these resonances and trains the vocal folds to stay together, it is possible to vocalize smoothly and evenly from one register to the next. The relationship of the two elements working together will create an even, smooth vocalization and, as a result, eliminates the “breaks” in the voice. She has a good knowledge of playing the piano, so you can sing along to her accompaniment or accompany yourself under her supervision. What does the first lesson include? You’ll talk about: - your background and musical experience - all the circumstances that can influence your sound production - your needs, expectations and plans You also find out: - what your bad habits are - how you can start your singing technique - what kind of exercises will help you best achieve your singing goals Who is welcome? - Children (8+), adolescents and adults - Singers of all kinds of popular music - Students who want to learn hearing / rhythm theory - Individuals, groups and families

Personal Music Lessons(guitar, piano) for all ages
Dear prospective student, I offer lessons on classical and acoustic guitar, and on piano! We will talk about what you like and we will adapt songs and styles to your preferences. It is important to enjoy what you’re learning! Then the lesson becomes more fun! In the lessons we can practice different skills based on what interests you. For example songwriting and improvisation. In this way you can emotionally connect with the material you play and find emotional growth! We can also practice your music theory skills so you know basic rules of music and understand a piece better! Or simply and nicely, play music together and improve your skills on your chosen instrument! If you are interested, contact me and we can set together goals based on your level and achieve great results!

Piano (classical - jazz/pop) and/or vocal (jazz/pop) lessons
Hello and welcome to my music studio! It is absolutely fabulous that you are interested in music, and I hope you have lots and lots of fun with it! However, diving into the wonders of the piano/keyboard can be a bit overwhelming... and that is where I come in! This course is for anyone from complete beginners to advanced students, from lessons that focus completely on classical music to lessons that include or focus on the basics of jazz/pop. If you like to sing, we can also work on the basics of jazz/pop vocal, so you can learn to accompany yourself at the piano. In our lessons, technique will be an inherent part of the training, as well as analysis, basic music theory, and efficient ways of practicing music. If that all sounds good to you, then please reach out to me and we can start ASAP! Lessons can be in English or Dutch. So who am I? In a nutshell, I am a professional pianist, vocalist, lyricist and blogger. Since 2014, I have taught in various music schools, teaching piano, ensemble, jazz vocal, and solfege. On a more elaborate note, I obtained my Master of Arts in classical piano, summa cum laude, at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (KASK) in 2017, and studied as a Fulbrighter at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington USA during the 2019-2020 academic year. Every day, I strive to become a better musician and person, and I aim to transfer that passion to my students.

Do you want to learn how to play piano, sing or maybe both? I am available to teach at my place, your house, or online. Method: Available to teach any level. I can approach the instrument in a free or structured way according to the goal of each one. I've been teaching voice and piano for 7 years and I've been helping my students to develop methods so that they can have an autonomous study, deepen technical aspects, help "assemble" and solidify repertoire and not least, stimulate the creativity of each student. About me: I completed the Professional Jazz Instrumentalist Course at the Coimbra Conservatory of Music (Portugal,2016) and a Degree in Music (jazz variant) at the Lisbon Superior School of Music (2020). I attended a master's degree focused on music education (jazz) at the same institution(2020-2021). I am currently doing my Master's at Conservatorium Van Amsterdam. I am an active piano player and singer and I've developed several projects in different musical styles. I am friendly and I love to work with people of all ages. Learn piano easily with 1 on 1 private lessons perfect for beginner and intermediate students.
This Piano Instruction offers a program for beginners and intermediates as a package deal for students who are more serious and want to dedicate more time to learning piano. As a beginner, you will learn basic piano techniques and practices, and immediately start learning songs that will enforce and progress those techniques. By the end of the program, you will be able to read and play sheet music and have a much greater understanding of music in general. Those who are past the beginner level will start lessons that focus on learning more advanced pieces to further strengthen their skills. You may also choose to learn your favorite songs in this program. The goal here is to give you the practice techniques and confidence to be able to perform solo piano pieces. **YOUR LESSONS** You may choose to follow my piano/music theory program, learn to play your favorite songs, or even take lessons just to learn chords. I’m happy to work with my students to give them the lessons they want and the skills they will cherish.

Lou-Indigo
Guitar / Bass / Ukulele / Theory
The course that I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, as well as 2 BOOKS. Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress. Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward. The kind of music you love most will be the focus of the course, their codes and secrets will be the focus of our study, that's what I want to share with you. We can do technical lessons and simply learn together how to play one or more songs of your choice or mine, enrich your game with this approach and your repertoire! (For example, We can re-arrange the pieces and make them more original by approaching the system (CAGED), and enriching their chords, resulting in new positions, new techniques and new sounds, using arpeggio techniques rather than strumming for 4-chord pieces, voicing and fingerstyle techniques, in short, expanding the instrument's playing fields and playing skills to keep progressing in your game and improve your rehearsals ...) If you make a request, this program is obviously accompanied by the pleasure of learning more in theory and being able to directly apply new knowledge on its instrument and identify its common or rare use in the pieces discussed in class. In this case, the theory is translated to be accessible to anyone, both for those who are connoisseurs and for those who discover everything from absolute zero. The exercises, songs, and theoretical explanations offered throughout the program are organized in an order of progressive difficulty. I wrote and produced 2 books of my method to learn the guitar and the music, that I sell to accompany my course and your apprenticeship in the best conditions and so that you can continue the course even at home and to review etc ... . There is ONE BOOK OF COURSES containing all the theoretical and practical program of the year, as well as a BOOK OF EXERCISE on the ranges and the modes that you can obtain directly. You can find here an indicative list of objectives that I propose in my theoretical program, which can of course adapt to your request.
