I offer 1 hour violin lessons in Stockholm for both adults and children at all levels. The lessons can be adapted and be shorter or longer according to your needs and goals. You are welcome to my home studio (Solna) or I can come to your home (but with an additional fee). I focus on building a solid technical foundation while nurturing your own musicality as you work with repertoire.

About Me

I started playing the violin at the age of seven, and in 2004 I was admitted to the Conservatorio di Torino “G. Verdi”, where I first studied with Christine Anderson and then with Piergiorgio Rosso of the Trio Debussy. I graduated in 2015 and in the same year I was admitted to the Accademia di Pinerolo, where I studied with Adrian Pinzaru until 2018.

Over the years I have been a substitute in several orchestras: the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana under the direction of A. Vedernikov, the Polledro Orchestra, the “L. Cherubini” Orchestra conducted by Riccardo Muti and the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana, among others. In 2017 I also worked as a tutor in Maurizio Cadossi’s quartet class at the Conservatorio di Alessandria. From October 2018 to August 2019 I had a permanent place in the “L. Cherubini” Orchestra under Riccardo Muti.

I have five years of experience teaching both adults and children.

Solfeggio and theory of music for children and adults, by experienced teacher and teorist. Music theory lessons aimed at developing your ear and your potential as a composer. To be able to arrange any song, knowledge of music theory and harmony is necessary. I am a clarinet player, graduated teacher and experienced concert performer, I offer clarinet lessons for all levels and different genres (classical music, film music, klezmer music, folk music, electronic music...).

I have dedicated myself to perfecting my art under the guidance of internationally renowned artists and I have performed in chamber music groups as well as in orchestra and as a soloist throughout Europe, United States and Japan.

We can work together on the instrument, breathing, resonance, mouth, fingers, technique, relaxation, posture, solfège, musical interpretation, stage presence...
It is not necessary to know the music theory to start the clarinet,
I can follow you from beginner level to preparation for examination and conservatory exams to advanced specialization classes.
Pieces can be adapted to the levels and desires of the students.
All ages, 8 to 80 years old :)

Courses at my home in Sundbyberg or at the student's home.
I am available every day and move to your home at your convenience.
Depending on the level and age of the students, the duration of my classes vary between 1 hour, 1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours.

My lessons are suitable for both beginners and experienced players. Lessons are altered individually for each student - either you want to:
- pick up a new hobby and learn the very basics of violin playing,
- brush up your long forgotten skills and learn a few new tunes,
- get advice on interpretation and specific advice on how to improve your musical expression,
- find a tutor for your child.

Recommended lesson length is 30-45 minutes for children and beginners, and 45-60 minutes to students with previous experience.

My name is Norbert and i am 25 years old. I finished my violin Bachelor degree on University for Music and performing Arts in Graz. I have been playing the violin since i was 4 years old and i have a big musical background since I come from a musician family. I have experience in private violin lessons and also i worked in a private music school for 2 years. I have been teaching children from 5 years old, teenagers and adults as well. I can teach violin on all levels from beginner to advanced. I have a flexible schedule and also a B driver license so it is possible to have the lessons either at my place or at your home. Beginners to advanced students of all ages are welcome to learn from a drummer with 20 years of experience and a master's degree from the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. I am multilingual and have a holistic approach to teaching, carefully creating unique lessons to meet the needs of each individual student. I have experience playing all styles of music and I love to share my knowledge and experience, so the course can take the direction you want. For beginners, I have many lessons to get you playing with proper technique from the start so you avoid injuries and bad habits from posture and grip.
