Djing is a form of live performance that that can be enjoyed by everyone, this class aims to teach the basic DJ fundamentals including beat matching, sampling, the use of filters and many more. The lessons will be held by a Newcastle University Music student who specialises in turntabalism and popular music consumption. The class is open to students of all ability, I look forward to helping you on your DJ journey!

Guitar These lessons focus on understanding the fundamentals of the instrument up to advanced techniques and practices to develop guitarists at all stages of their creative journeys. Jack's experience as a performer in a wide range of styles mean you can expect lessons to cover genres as far reaching as pop and mainstream to alternative rock and indie, as well as jazz and classical guitar. Songwriting Lessons in songwriting with Jack balance encouraging student creativity with understanding the craft and theory behind great songwriting. The outcome of these lessons will be a confidence in songwriting workflow for the student, allowing them to express themselves fluently. Production Utilising Jack's experience studying Music Technology these lessons focus on learning how to record and mix music in a creative way that works with the music students want to make.

I'll provide exercices so you can train between classes, and will adapt the content to your interests. I have also created individualised plans and programmes to facilitate a targeted, personalised approach to education while stimulating students’ enjoyment and appreciation for the French language and culture. I have employed a wide array of instructional techniques, instructional media, and technological tools—including hand-outs, presentations, videos, online activities, and foreign language laboratory assignments—to facilitate improved language abilities. I know how important it is to make the student feel relaxed, which in turn helps them become ready to learn.

It isn't just about playing the right notes with the right rhythm, but also conveying emotions through the right touch and expression. Mathematics: Mathematics is a fundamental field of study that deals with numbers, quantities, shapes, and patterns. It provides a systematic approach to problem-solving and critical thinking. Mathematics encompasses various branches, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and more. It is used extensively in various fields such as science, engineering, finance, and technology to model, analyze, and solve complex problems. Mathematics is considered a universal language that underpins many aspects of our daily lives and scientific advancements.

History defines our surroundings, our identity, our nations, and our life in any way we do not always see. For myself, I have always had a deep passion for making history fun, exciting and captivating, something my students will experience in my classes, in which, through the medium of storytelling and class interaction I will take them through a journey through time learning about key historical periods related to their learning curriculum at school. I hold and BA in History and Politics (2:1) and an MSc in Heritage Studies (Merit), both from the University of Stirling, in which my research into Scottish Social history was well-praised by my tutors during my dissertations. During my time at university, and work at NGS I have cultivated extensive knowledge about Medieval Scottish history, the Viking era, and Ancient history such as the Egyptians, WWI & WWII, and Industrial British history, amongst many others. This knowledge enables me to ensure Primary and High School students can be taught the history curriculum at School by just one person. I am also open to requests about certain topics outside mainstream High Education curriculums, in which students would like me to research a topic and tutor them about it.
