About Me

* I always try my best for my students to let them know about music. Music is not just about playing an instrument. Its about how to understand the piece of music that is being played.
* Methods are different based on age and characteristics and I have a lot of tolerance. I perhaps describe a single part event in many different ways to make the student understand it well.
* I use "ask a question" method even in new subjects cause I believe when students reaches the answer by their own, they will never forget it.
* In sum, there are many different styles in playing piano and keyboards but the most important one is Classical style witch is my main purpose for my students.

My name is Matleena and I’m a classical pianist from Finland, living in Tallinn. I have a Master’s degree from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and I have been teaching piano since 2012. I love teaching, meeting new people and sharing music with the world. I teach students of all ages and I’m always looking for creative ways to make the learning experience interesting. My name is Jordi L. Jové, classical pianist and I offer piano lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced students, in English or Spanish.

I believe that anyone can learn music and piano in different stages of life with different goals and that this requires a commited, passionate, adaptable and akwnoledged teacher. In my years of education, since I began playing the piano, and later followed the professional path; I’ve seen and encountered uncountable situations being both student and teacher that made me highly value the teacher’s role and aimed to incorporate it in my career development.

My previous experiences in the field include regular private teaching, individual and in music academies during two-three years in Barcelona to students either kids, teenagers or adults (presential and online). I have also prepared music entrance examinations to public schools and conservatòries in Catalonia, covering piano lessons and music theory lessons.

The added values that I can bring are experience in reinforcement teaching in high school subjects, coaching solo musicians when accompanying them and accompanying and leading choirs.
