Rhiannon has experience playing a wide range of genres from working with award-winning artists including Jess Glynne (Pop), Anna-Jane Casey (Theatre), Anne-Sofie Von Otter (Opera), Isabella Melodies (Gospel) & Le Gateau Chocolat (Cabaret). She spent 7 years teaching in two top preparatory schools in London, and also taught jazz and improvisation at the Southbank Centre for Tomorrow's Warriors to adults. She has given masterclasses at venues including the Southbank Centre and Rich Mix, and led multiple masterclasses as part of the Yehudi Menuhin Centenary Week in 2016. Rhiannon's teaching experience includes preparing children for exams and auditions - with some of her pupils having been awarded music scholarships to top independent schools in London, as well as places at Junior Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and The Centre for Young Musicians.

CURRICULUM I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years. For beginners I like to use Alfred method books for basics concepts and for Classical and Jazz Piano technique I like to use ABRSM books (grade 1-8). If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs. Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible.
