Trusted teacher: My name is Pia, I am a professional harpist-singer, composer and arranger. I have been playing the harp for over 20 years, studied classical music for 10 years and then moved on to other styles and created my own musical projects. I like teaching the harp "otherwise". For beginners, we will start, of course, with the basics of technique. For more advanced harpists, we can explore different styles, approach the rhythmic harp, improvisation, different jazz standards, try arrangements of pieces known to your requests, and even include singing, if you wish :) Schedules will be defined together. Here are some points of my biography -Provision to: Festival Mundial del Arpa in Paraguay; Vancouver Island Music Fest in Canada; Festival Internacional Arpa Sentmenat in Spain, Encuentro International Maestros del Arpa in Colombia, Boston Harp Festival in the United States, Gaume Jazz Festival in Belgium, and many others. -Graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston (2014-> 2017) in jazz harp and from Valencia - Spain (2015) and obtained one of the best scholarships awarded by the school -2017 to 2020: Professional musical life in New York. -Participation in the show The Voice France in the team of Louis Bertignac (2012) -Highly graduated from the Nancy International Music Academy singing, major of his promotion, with special mention unanimously, with the congratulations of the jury (2011) -Winner of many musical competitions, such as the Belgian national competition Dexia "Axion Classic" in 2008 (1st prize), the Ufam competition in Paris, in 2000 (Mention très bien) and 2006 (1st medal), the Felix Godefroid competition in 2003 (1st prize), the Imagine competition in 2009 (1st place), semi-finalist of the Dutch Harp Festival Competition in 2018. -Professor at the Royal Conservatory of Liège, Belgium. Pia

rating green star
My 8 year old daughter signed up for a singing contest at school with no experience or knowledge in music. We did get in touch with Pia and she was able to give a few singing lessons within a short period of time. Yesterday my daughter performed very successfully in the contest. Pia is not only able to teach singing, she also has the ability to motivate and inspire and she has definitely awaken the interest in music to our daughter. We are very happy that we have met Pia and hope to see her again.
