Some of my students have gone on to perform at major opera houses, theatre festivals and professional choirs, while some have gained the confidence to sing a solo at their local church or community event. Some have completed their ABRSM or Trinity exams, or auditioned for conservatoire/university, which I help prepare them for. Seeing my students shine (both on stage and off) fills me with humble pride and fulfillment. That means that when we have a lesson, you will be getting the same training as stars like Brandon Flowers (The Killers), Seal, Dan Reynolds (Imagine Dragons), Barbara Streisand, Michael Jackson, Brendon Urie (Panic! at the disco) many broadway artists and singers from all possible music styles have learnt with. Trusted teacher: My lessons are tailored to each student’s age, experience, and goals. Children (7–12 years old) For younger students, lessons focus on building confidence while making learning fun. We begin with simple vocal warm-ups and ear training to develop pitch and intonation, then move on to singing their favourite songs, encouraging good vocal habits in an enjoyable way. Teenagers (12-17 years old) With teenage students, we start with more structured vocal warm-ups and exercises. As we discover their natural voice, we work on developing a comfortable vocal range, improving technique, and applying these skills through songs that suit their voice and interests. Adults and seniors (18+) For adult students, lessons are usually divided into two parts. We begin with vocal technique, focusing on breathing, diaphragm support, scales, arpeggios, and intonation. We then apply these techniques through singing, helping you develop confidence, control, and healthy vocal habits. I will give you repertoire to study or we will study the pieces you have to prepare. The final goal will be to sing on a musical accompaniment. Every student learns at a different pace. I have taken my first lesson with Lynette and it was a great experience. I have been singing for some time at a choir, but have no formal training and want to learn the fundamental technique, and also work on some of the pieces we sing at the choir. The lesson was very practical, dynamic and she pays great attention to detail. After the class I could feel the improvement on the areas we have covered and felt much more confident on my skills. Highly recommended!

Mrs. Denise has demonstrated passion, mastery and, above all, great versatility as a teacher. As someone who loves singing it was very helpful in the very first lesson to begin to understand the muscles I need to use and the "spaces" I need to create to stabilise and improve my sound. I also felt she responded well to each question I raised, or issue she heard in the way I did the excercises. I look forward to future lessons.
