Trusted teacher: Warm welcome to every little human out there who has chosen to play the most beautiful instrument in the world! And welcome to the most patient parents: believe me, I totally understand how hard it can be to raise a musician. So I'm here for you to help 🙌🏻 How I can help you: 1) My favorite role is a home tutor for a kid who already plays the violin, or has offline classes with another teacher, but needs some help at home. We can work together on such details like intonation, phrasing, sound, virtuosity, etc. I can help to choose the appropriate program, or just work on that one given by your teacher. 2) I also can give occasional classes when you need some urgent help: maybe your teacher is on holiday, and you're preparing for important exam/recording/concert. These are very straightforward classes, with precise goals and detailed practice. 3) Starting from scratch. Please pay attention that I accept this kind of inquiries only with kids older than 12. We will learn the instrument, must-have music theory, and make all the way through, from zero to first favorite melodies played by your child! If your request includes something that I didn't mention above, please feel free to ask ♥️ ❗️ IMPORTANT NOTICE: I don't do violin classes online from zero for kids from 7 to 12 years, because I strongly believe that personal contact, being able to help the kid physically is essential in this age. I can give classes to children of this age though if they have another teacher offline, and just need some help at home. OFFLINE CLASSES ARE AVAILABLE FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES AND ALL LEVELS 🎻

Trusted teacher: After studying at the A. Steffani Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto in Italy where he obtained the highest distinction, Gabriele then completed his Master's degree in violin with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Mons with M° Eliot Lawson and Wibert Aerts. During his training, Gabriele also studied with Ilya Grubert at the Fondazione Musicale Santa Cecilia in Italy, Elina Vahala at the Hochschule Fur Musik Karlsruhe and took masterclasses with Ivry Gitlis, Stefano Pagliani, Elisabeth Perry, Igor Volochine, Vineta Sareika, Kati Sebestyén and Chouchane Sironossian. He is currently studying at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with M° Shirly Laub and M° Frédéric d'Ursel in a specialized master's degree and Agrégation at the Royal Conservatory of Mons. In 2018, Gabriele won the audition for the Jeugd Antwerp Simphony Orchestra (ASO) and for the Nationaal Jeugd Orkest (NJO); in 2019 he won the audition for European Union Youth Orchestra (Euyo) and Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza (OTO) and is also selected in 2020 for the Young Belgian Strings as well as the Antwerp Philarmonic Orchestra. He has collaborated with several orchestras in Italy and Belgium, including the Boho Strings Orchestra in Antwerp, the Ataneres Ensemble in Louvain, the Chapelle Musicale de Tournai in Tournai, the Assai Symphonia in Hasselt, the Orchestra of Archi Italiani and the Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Italy. Very involved in the chamber music repertoire, Gabriele founded in 2018 with the pianist Julien Lejeune the Duo Aréthuse, in which they explore the romantic French and contemporary Italian repertoire, in search of an interpretation marked by accuracy, simplicity and of modernity. They are at the initiative of the creation in 2019 of the Hellens Ensemble, consisting of a string quartet, a piano and a lyrical singer, an ensemble with which they are interested in Belgian music and more particularly to the repertoire with voice. Gabriele also studied at the University of Padua at the Faculty of History and Musicology.

I really recommend katja for your violin classes!!! She's a very good teacher. Katja has a rich background in music and is able to adapt the class according to the level of the student. Her explanations and corrections to evolve are concreet and very well done, which makes things easier to understand. She makes you love music and violin. She has a good time notion and makes the hour of the class efficient as she makes you work on different things. She's also a very nice person! Enjoy your class with katja :)

Usha

Usha is a world-class violinist and violin teacher! I studied from a young age and through college at a relatively high level, but had to put it down for many years once I started working. Usha has helped me relearn the fundamentals with good habits and regain confidence as a performing artist. I love how creatively she tackles complex problems, and how her violin lessons--though focused on music and technique--seem to involve big life lessons as well. I look forward to continuing to study with Usha!
