Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 12 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. I am an RCA MA Painting graduate, and I have a BA(Hons) degree in Fine Art from Westminster University, and a Foundation diploma in Art & Design from the University for the Creative Arts. I am a practicing artist based in London, specializing in painting, and I have been showing my work nationally and internationally. My recent solo show was at Class Reiss London, and I also had a solo presentation at Art Athina. My fascination with tutoring derives from my sensitivity around learning disabilities, something which is a recurring theme in my practice as I grew up as a dyslexic learner, as well as my educational experience of being part of leading academic UK institutions. Sewing and wearing self-made clothes made of new material is something very special in and of itself. It is even more exciting to sew a dress from second hand clothes, curtains, duvet covers or bathrobes, especially if these also have a special sentimental meaning. If you can't sew yet, I'll teach you. If you don't have any fabrics yourself, I also offer a selection of various washed second hand fabrics that we can process. The course includes - the design and manufacture of your own pattern in katcouture style (see photo) for your dress - The selection, quality control, and maximum use of existing substances / materials - Cutting and ironing the pieces of fabric with the help of the pattern / template - Basic techniques of sewing on the sewing machine and how it works - Tips & tricks that can also be used for future sewing projects Since everyone is very individual when it comes to the amount of time they need, the times are set individually and charged hourly. The lessons take place in Au/Haidhausen. Course suitable for everyone between 13 – 75 who has good motor skills and dexterity :)

"Learning by making" From drawing, oil painting to creative thinking training through materiality. Each age is special and different visual styles can be worked upon and the outcomes can often be surprisingly authentic. Those anticipations are the basis of each class. My classes are designed through collaborations when it comes to experimentations or intersected fields and mediums, which is an option and pertinent characteristic of approach. Classes are applicable to students who are 16+ of all levels . Personal Portfolio Class: If you are considering applying for art school or design school, you might want to prepare yourself and build a convincing portfolio, perhaps improve your presentation skill or even some confidence boost for interviews. We will first explore what talents you already have and those you will want/need to have, the goal is to help you develop your creativity and curiosity as well as your artistic skills and most importantly find out your inner talent for a direction that will suit you, whether in education or self-development. And we will do a live rehearsal for your interview for the best presentation result and confidence boost. Overall, It'll help you cultivate the soft and hard skills you need to be more confident setting and resetting expectations, strengthening relationships, and taking your projects across the finish line without any cold sweat. For teenagers: are highly encouraged to experiment with different materials and techniques and preferably through themes - selected by me or the student's likings as well. We will also look at specific Artists and Painters, as well as specific Art History periods, and the kids will then be encouraged to play around and recreate their own version of the Artist or period. Needless to say that class do not necessarily mean free-time activity, the academic material is intentionally or not(unconsciously) always a present element of my instructive performance. Therefore, the game becomes a teaching/learning relation, whilst teaching and learning turn into a recreational joyful moment for all participants.
