The classes will be conducted in either English, French, or both, once again depending on the needs and the level of the student. Classes focused on the reinforcement of the language can also be organised, focused on specific topics that the student is interested in, which will allow the student not to lose the language and to develop further their knowledge of lexicon in the specific area. AlnishyiaMaths & Science Tuition with Tutor of 10 years experience
I have experience in teaching mathematics and science from IGCSE, GCSE and A-Level all the way up to the challenging I am very familiar with the GCSE syllabus having gone through the O’Levels and A’Levels in Singapore myself. When teaching mathematics and science, I believe that doing a lot of practice is the best way to learn; it’s how I’ve always studied the subject, from GCSE all the way up to university level. I understand the common issues students have with mathematics and science at every level, and I tailor my teaching to the needs of each individual student. When teaching GCSE and A level, I like to first go over any conceptual issues students may have, before moving on to exercises. Going through examples can often uncover misunderstandings, as well as provide clarity, and hence a balance of both is required. I work with a combination of weak and strong students from many well-known schools in Singapore and also international schools in London. I am keen to provide you with lessons that are highly personalised to your ability and goals – just let me know which areas you'd like to work on! Some students come with an idea of which topics they would like to improve on, in which case we can work on any theory questions they have and go through example problems they may be struggling with. For other students, it may be best to start with the exercises, and use these to spark discussion and teaching when we encounter difficulties. Often, it is a combination of time spent grappling with the content/theory and working through example questions together that helps the most!

JuliaPrivate French & German classes with native speaker + English classes! (IELTS, TOEFL)
Hi! ^_^ I'm a French and German native speaker and have been teaching languages since age 17. Over years I've realized Psychology plays a huge part in teaching and I was so passionate about it that I decided to study Psychology in one of the best universities in the world. I love applying my knowledge, experiences and skills from university to what I do and there is nothing better than seeing the progress of my students after huge amounts of work. I'm mulilingual - my mom always spoke German to me ever since I was born, and my father is French and he always spoke French to me. I first went to a German school, then to a private French school and now I'm in the UK system - so, my abilities in these three languages are more or less the same, and I am accent-free in all of them. My classes are all one to one, tailored to my students' needs, and I always try to make learning fun. I love accumulating knowledge, I love learning new things, and when I teach, I try to pass this enthusiasm on to my students. I'm happy to meet you wherever works best for you (online, at your home, at my home, in a park...). Really looking forward to meeting you! Sincerely, Julia.
JulienPrivate Lessons, Tutoring - Mathematics and Science
Dear Parents, You came here to seek help for your child and you did well. Publics schools are essential for our education, but they sometimes lacks the necessary resources to take care of each student individually. I had quite a difficult schooling myself for this very reason. My struggles were no greater than anyone else's, but the schedule was too rigid for me to thrive freely. Thanks to the support of my parents however, I was fortunate enough to benefit from the help of a private school and I was thus able to fulfill my childhood dream of becoming a chemist. I am now a chemist who graduated from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) and on April 11, 2019, I was defending a doctoral thesis in experimental physics at the University of Geneva (UNIGE). All this knowledge, however, is only useful if one knows how to communicate it properly. As you know, this is an essential aspect of teaching. There are boring teachers and there are others whose passion is contagious. I often find that teachers whose interest spreads to their students take the trouble to give context to what they are teaching. This often arouses the curiosity of the students who therefore work of their own free will. Your child's education is serious business, and you are right to seek solutions. Best regards, Julien
