Law, economics and history — Swiss Matura: preparation by a university teacherTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I support students in their final year of secondary school (gymnasium and federal baccalaureate) in law, economics and history, up to and including written and oral exams. These three areas rarely fail due to a lack of effort. They fail because one simply regurgitates a lesson instead of constructing an answer: a history essay that recounts instead of arguing, a legal case addressed without legal qualification, an economics question where the underlying mechanism isn't fully explained. That's precisely where I work. What this means in practice: — precise identification of what costs points in your papers; — method of analysis and writing adapted to each branch (case study, dissertation, document commentary); — materials that I design myself: summaries, diagrams, sets of corrected exercises, timed oral practice; — specific preparation for oral exams, including the defense of final year projects. I am familiar with the Swiss programs and the examiners' expectations — and I can relate the material to how these subjects are actually treated, which helps a lot in retaining it. In-person classes in the Valais Chablais region or online. Initial discussion to define your objectives and the schedule leading up to the exam.

As a recent civil engineering graduate with a master's degree in management, I offer private tutoring in Finance and/or Accounting.Translate this text using Google Translate.

My accounting and finance courses are aimed at students in colleges and universities (bachelor's level). Before starting private lessons, I usually ask for a description of the student's current course so that I can best prepare the sessions. My background in civil engineering has instilled in me a problem-based learning approach. My teaching method is therefore primarily practical, as the most important thing for analytical subjects is being able to solve any type of problem. And to do that, you need to do as many as possible. During my studies, I realized that the best way to understand a subject is by doing exercises on it. However, a certain foundation is necessary. That's why I usually start with a brief review of the subject and provide a formula sheet with the important formulas and concepts when needed. Then, I work through one or more typical exercises with the student, explaining the steps involved. Finally, the student will do exercises on their own, using the formula sheet (using formulas is the best way to remember them). I will then be there to assess their understanding, answer their questions, and help them when necessary.

Former economics teacher and highly experienced tutor offers economics and business economics tutoring for all levels. Expert in online tutoring!Translate this text using Google Translate.

Looking for a highly experienced tutor for economics and/or business economics? Then you've come to the right place! I'm a former economics teacher with a first-degree teaching qualification who, since 2021, has dedicated myself entirely to tutoring various subjects. I did this because it allows me to do what I love most: explaining material, building student confidence, and working together to improve grades. This way, I've helped around 200 students achieve passing grades or even pass exams over the past few years! Since I'm a former economics teacher, I can perfectly help you if you're struggling with this subject. I can also help you with business economics, as my Bachelor's in International Business and Master's in Finance were packed with business economics courses. I always enjoy completing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. The structure of the tutoring is always determined in consultation, but generally, I'm a big fan of starting on assignments as soon as possible. Why? Because then I can quickly see what you can already do and what you're still struggling with. I help with that. This way, I avoid unnecessary explanations of things you already know. Moreover, you can then immediately apply the explanations you do need to an assignment. This way, the material sticks much better. By the way, if you prefer tutoring at home, but I live too far away, consider trying online tutoring. I'm very experienced in that. I always give online tutoring via Google Meet, using a digital whiteboard where I can draw, color, paste, and type. This way, I can explain/demonstrate everything perfectly. I then share everything I've written on the whiteboard with you via WhatsApp so you can review all the explanations and solutions at your leisure after the lesson. Super convenient! Finally, if I had to describe myself in a few words, they would be: knowledgeable, calm, reliable, approachable, committed and tidy.

I recently had the privilege of being taught by an exceptional finance analysis instructor. Her teaching style is truly commendable. She possesses an extraordinary ability to convey complex financial concepts with utmost clarity and patience. Her dedication to ensuring i comprehend the material is truly admirable. She consistently goes above and beyond, taking the time to address individual questions and providing additional support until ei feel confident in understanding. What sets her apart is not only her excellent teaching skills, but also her profound professionalism and extensive experience in finance analysis. This is evident in every lecture and assignment. Her practical insights and real-world examples enriched our learning experience and provided valuable context to theoretical concepts.

Tom had given economie lessen to both my children that are on the middle bar school. My kids were lost, going very bad specially in economie and with limited understanding at school lessons. I decided to hire Tom, was difficult to find someone that give lessons to teenagers and that was knowledged. Tom has been with us the last months, my kids began understanding better, getting the point and scoring better at school. Sometimes I could overhear the online lessons or even 'live lessons' when he came home. Tom is great, with lots of patience, straight to the point, know how to explain, never lose the temper. We are very happy and will certainly recommend him. He is very professional and can motivate the students in a very good way. Thanks Tom!

Jad provided exceptional help and gave great recommendations on how the overall paper could be improved. The sessions were not only value adding to construct the paper optimally but also to gain insight as to how researchers work in real life. I really enjoyed the sessions as Jad was a very knowledgable and patient tutor who was always giving his best to help out (also given the time constraints and tight schedule that I was facing). Thank you again so much for everything!!
