✅ Statistics is a branch of mathematics which aims to collect information, analyze it, process it and interpret the results in order to respond to a very specific problem such as the census of the population of a region including the aim is to respond to development problems. ✅ The course problem situation is as follows: We recorded the time in minutes that each student in a fourth grade class took to solve a geometry problem and we obtained the following results: 8 15 10 11 9 13 14 12 13 15 13 8 14 15 13 8 12 13 14 12 15 15 12 14 10. We would like to know the average time to solve a geometry problem. ✅ The learning activity to capture the attention of learners is as follows: Based on information from the problem situation: 1) Draw up a table of modalities, numbers and frequencies. 2) Calculate the average of this statistical series. 3) Deduce the average time to solve a geometry problem ✅ The lesson summary is based on a series of definitions: 1) The population studied 2) The individual 3) The character studied 4) The modality 5) Number of a modality 6) Total workforce 7) Staffing table and frequency 8) The mode 9) The nature of the character studied 10) The frequency of a modality 11) The formula for calculating frequency. 12) Definition of the mean of a statistical series. 13) The formula for calculating the average of a statistical series. ✅ The end of the course will be marked by a training exercise to be corrected in class and ex exercises to do at home. ✅ The next one will consist of checking the exercises from the previous course to check if the course has been assimilated by the learners.

Secondary math teacher graduated from NorthEastern Illinois University with a teaching license certificate. Have 6years of teaching experience. Dedicated to help students learn and understand math. Lesson planning, needs assessment, and visually engaging educational techniques are just a few areas in which I have gained experience and thorough comprehension. Throughout my academic career, I honed my communication, creativity, and motivational skills. My commitment to fostering collaborative and exciting educational environments positions me to successfully encourage and develop productive and accomplished students. Throughout my 6 years of teaching experience at Northside College Preparatory HS and CICS Northtown Academy, I discovered that I have an exceptional rapport with high school students. I have been professionally challenged to meet the needs of a culturally and linguistically diverse high school level classrooms. I believe it is important to understand the different learning styles and strengths that students bring to the classroom. During my teaching experience, I have taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Statistics, Finite Math, Geometry, Calculus, and AP Calculus. I particularly enjoyed working with at-risk children. I have gained the ability to modify lessons to provide accommodations for the learning needs of all my students. My careful preparation of lessons allowed me to break down complicated concepts to simple examples that my young students could grasp, which was rewarding for both my students and for me.

I am a homeschooling mum of three girls. I am currently offering one-on-one private tutoring lessons in Maths, Accounting, Economics and other business related subjects for primary and high school students as well as certain subjects for university and other tertiary courses. Prior to full time homeschooling, I ran a business called Blooms Tutors. For 6 years the business ran very successfully employing over 40 tutors throughout Brisbane and Ipswich, and a couple on the Gold and Sunshine coasts. I personally tutored for over 12 years in 2 countries, Australia and South Africa. The business was eventually sold to a Japanese investor when I moved full time into homeschooling and sadly is no longer in operation. I have tutored at least 100 students across every grade from prep through to year 12 within the Queensland system, from both state and private schools and am familiar with a large number of schools in the west Brisbane and Ipswich regions. Over 6000 hours of teaching experience. I also have experience tutoring accounting and business subjects at the tertiary level, particularly with UQ and USQ students.I have a Bachelor of Commerce and an Honours degree in Accounting. I love teaching, and especially a one-on-one approach helping students overcome challenging topics and negative beliefs about their ability to learn and understand. My approach is very flexible and I try to fit in with each student’s unique needs. Many of my past students have stayed with me for their full high school term having weekly sessions through to the end of year 12. All sessions held online via Zoom or Google Meet I hold a current blue card (working with children check in QLD)

Hi, my names Haaziq and I'm currently studying Physics at UCL going into my second year. I am incredibly passionate about maths, physics and more importantly, teaching these subjects to others. I hope to offer high-standard tutoring services to those struggling in the subject. I believe I have a strong and proven approach to teaching, which has led to many cases of students exceeding their own expectations after I have taught them. I don't simply want to teach content, but rather develop the fundamental problem-solving skills needed to excel in these subjects. I find maths and physics problems to be akin to a puzzle, showing how to solve just one wouldn't help them long-term; teaching a step-by-step formula to be able to solve whatever comes their way is significantly greater. I want to equip students with an inherent understanding of the subjects I teach, enabling them to tackle each question with a degree of confidence and clarity. I aim to create planned sessions in order to target specific weaknesses in certain topics. Initially I would discuss what kind of issues are emerging, what topics aren't being understood, and what we can do about it. Based on my initial assessment, I will plan out a detailed 1-1 session tailored for the students specific needs and learning objectives. After each lesson I will also provide extra work to be completed before the next that I will mark and discuss in the next session. Thank you for reading and I hope you consider this excellent opportunity. If you would like to proceed further or would like to ask any questions, please don't hesitate in reaching out!
