About Me

The reason I want to teach music is based on transmitting a series of knowledge acquired over the years.

After 14 years as a conservatory student and specializing in guitar, I have had the opportunity to receive classes from different teachers. My goal is to use the acquired teachings to suit the student's improvement.

I am a graduate of the Royal College of Music in London, where I lived for 12 years. As well as my private lessons, I currently teach at Conservatoire of Barcelona to advanced pupils and at the British College of Gava to beginners pupils.

Piano lessons in Jazz, Classical, or Modern styles; depending on the student's interest, we can mix a bit of everything or delve deep into one style.

Main focus applied to overcome the problem of piano: mastering two-handed rhythm. To achieve this, I teach left-hand grooves and foundations while working on improvisation, harmony, melodies, accompaniments, and everything there is to play with the right hand. I introduce piano techniques such as walking bass, tenths, stride, drop 2, and more.

From my experience, rhythm, "Groove", and the connection with the music in the moment it is being played are the most challenging aspects to learn and integrate.
