Saxophone lessons, learning to play the saxophone correctly

Music is the basic essence of all emotions and expressions. By learning it, we can admire and understand its beauty and enormity. My objective is to share the knowledge in Carnatic music that I have gained over all these years with the same passion that I learned it with. My teaching techniques involve discussing theories, understanding ragam, talam, and its built, and appreciation of Carnatic, light and film music creations. I would teach and encourage my students to listen to the previously created music and discuss its intricacies. You can learn from the basics to the advanced level along with vocal exercises and breathing exercises required for the music practice. You can get trained to perform in open-stage concerts and competitions as well.

Many people are passionate about music, but have they ever studied it in their lives? With this course I offer music theory, transverse and recorder classes for all levels, from the youngest to the oldest. The course can be adapted to each student and their preferences when it comes to learning. From getting to know the history of music a little better, learning to read sheet music, learning more about harmony, analyzing compositions or learning a new instrument. These are some of the options but I am always open to students and their preferences.

I will happily help you achieve your musical goals, from the basic fundamentals of piano playing (reading music, positioning your hands on the keys) to building a wonderful sound and technique, allowing you to play anything you wish, from simple melodies to the renown classical piano repertoire of any era. Hi, I'm Laura, I'm a cellist and I love to share my musical knowledge with other people. I have experience with students of all ages and I believe that there is no right age to start learning to play an instrument. I adapt my lessons to the objectives and tastes of each student. After completing my Bachelor's degree in violin at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, I did a year of Erasmus at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf, in Germany. From September, I will start my Master at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen. Discovering new ways of learning is very important to me. I like to seize opportunities and meet inspiring musicians during Masterclasses in Belgium and abroad. Perseverance and work, while respecting oneself, are for me the keys to long-term progress. Learning music with kindness is the most important thing for me. I adapt to the needs and desires of each student, so that the process is personalized and motivating. Being able to pass on my passion enriches me enormously and allows me to acquire new skills as a musician. I teach in French and English. I also have some German and I plan to learn Dutch this year.

My name is Federico and I am a professional and Award Winning saxophone player. I worked at Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles as an Assistant Professor of Jeroen Van Herzeele the jazz saxophone professor. I graduated at Conservatorio G.Martucci of Salerno (Italy) and had both Bachelor and Master with full marks with honors. During the course of my studies i also spent two academic years abroad , one at the Kask and Conservatorium of Ghent with the supervision of Bart Defoort and one at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles with John Ruocco. In 2017 i won the "Massimo Urbani International Jazz Competition" prize that saw as head of the jury Kurt Rosenwinkel & Fabrizio Bosso. I play in several Jazz bands and I have been performing all around Europe. I recorded a solo album called "Right Now" with the famous Italian label "Philology Records" & the album"Supernova" with my own band. I also recorded several albums with different bands and of many styles, from jazz, funk to pop. I toured with the famous Italian Drummer Tullio De Piscopo (Pino Daniele, Mina, Astor Piazzolla's drummer) and also had the chance to make a variety of television appearances on Italian National Television (Rai1, Rai5, Rai3). I have a Master's degree from Liszt Ferenc in Budapest, Hungary, and a Master's degree from Columbus State University in the United States. I am currently a piano professor and collaborative pianist at the Universidad del Valle and Conservatorio "Antonio María Valencia" in Colombia. Besides my career as a pianist, I have over 10 years of experience in teaching Piano, music theory, and history for all ages and categories. Even if you are a beginner we can make it! I have a personal method where I combine both classical and commercial repertoire depending on the student’s preferences.
