I am Currently Deputy Course Leader for Performers College Brighton as part of the time leading on the Performing Arts BA(Hons) Degree professional training programme in Acting and Musical Theatre. I have particular strengths in text and character analysis and acting techniques to unlock character choices. Voice work. Audition prep, Drama School application prep and advice. I am a Greek native speaker coming originally from the beautiful island of Crete. I have been living in England for the last 20 years and I have been teaching privately for the last 15 years. After teaching a lot of online dance classes during covid, I feel like the virtual way of teaching is missed by me and a lot of my previous students. My dance classes are based on hiphop foundations, teaching my students fundamental technique through dance moves that build towards routines and choreography. The class helps students to be more active and develop in their confidence without the issues that might arise when dancing in a dance studio amongst others.

Meditation is a skill that can help guide you through life's ups and downs. Learning to calm the mind and body then use skills to examine the experiences we have in order to come to new understandings of how we suffer. We will learn basic mindfulness of the breath and bodily sensations, how to bring up loving-kindness and compassion for oneself and others plus learning the basic tenets of Buddhism including impermanence, unsatisfactoriness and not-self or emptiness. I was an ordained Buddhist nun in the Theravada tradition for 11 years and continue to practise this path daily. My teacher was Ajahn Sumedho (senior student of Ajahn Chah) who gave his blessing for me to continue teaching out of the monastery. Guidance will be given so that you will be able to foster a regular meditation practise navigating any obstacles along the way in a way that enriches understanding.

Some students find studying for their GCSE Sciences a difficult time, and I would like to help! As someone who struggled themselves at the beginning of their studies, I understand particular techniques that different students will require in order to advance their knowledge. I worked hard to succeed in my GCSE’s, my A-levels, my degree apprenticeship (in Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry), and finally my current BSC Environmental Science course.
