Music Theory, Clarinet, Composing (Logic / Sibelius)

I am a Masters graduate from the Royal College of Music in London and specialise in teaching a range of musical skills including: theory, composition and clarinet. With experience teaching all ages and abilities I aim to offer lessons tailored to you or your child that are clear, engaging and enjoyable! 😊

In COMPOSITION, I can give advice on a range of styles including:
- contemporary classical music, using Sibelius software
- electronic music production/Logic (any style)
- Music for Film (theory / orchestration and using samples etc)

In CLARINET we will focus on breathing and musicality as well as technical skill. I am also keen to encourage playing by ear and from memory as well as with printed music.

In MUSIC THEORY I aim to find simple, practical solutions to help students in their understanding as well as relating the theory to well-known examples in classical and modern music.

I love meeting new people with a passion for music, from absolute beginners to the more advanced. I'd love to hear from you if any of the above sounds up your street!

Ableton Live, Sound Design and Music Theory for Beginners and Intermediates
Ableton Live is the new standard for electronic music. Its very easy to learn and with only a couple of lessons you will be able to start making your own music! Used by almost all EDM, House, Deep House and even Pop artists it is the must-have tool in the new decade. In our classes we will go over making beats, basic music theory, song-writing techniques and production techniques including advanced sound design with synthesizers. If requested, we can also move on to mixing to make your tracks sound just like what you hear on the radio. I specialize in Ableton Live and have released albums on multiple record labels. I hold a degree in Music Production and Sound Engineering from Point Blank Music School and I am currently the Ableton tutorial writer for Attack Magazine. I also own my own recording and production studio in East London.

Piano Lessons for Beginners and Amateurs. Classical, Pop, Improvisation and Own Compositions.
I am a professional classical pianist, accompanist, singer, and composer with a Bachelor's Degree from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and a Master's Degree at the Royal Conservatorium in the Hague. For 6 years now, I have been teaching students of all levels between 5 and 60 years old. Lessons are based on your level, interests, and goals. Together we can find out if you are keener on classical repertoire, or if you want to play your favorite pop-music, some beautiful soundtrack from a movie you like or compose/improvise new pieces. With my experience in teaching diverse genres, I will help you explore the music that you like. The central pillars I always work with are technique and creativity, which are much more connected than you would expect! While we advance, I also introduce the basics (or more deeply, if you are interested) of music theory to learn to communicate with each other in musical terms (chords, keys, score reading, etc.). And above all, the goal is to enjoy and have fun!

I have 6 years of teaching experience and an ABRSM Diploma certificate for Piano Performance. I design different lesson-plans for every single student depending on their levels, learning modes, interests, and abilities. You or your child will learn to become a complete musician, with not only performance techniques but also other highly transformative abilities: sightreading skills, aural skills, theory knowledge and above all, good taste in music. My schedule is very flexible. All levels welcome.

Giorgos
I'm a professional classical guitarist, student at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels, and i give guitar, theory and solfege lessons
Hello everyone I'm Giorgos and i teach classical guitar! I the past, the guitar was considered a very royal instrument and is still considered one of the most widely used instruments to accompany with. The repertoire and possibilities are huge, and i like to structure my lessons based on what you like to listen to and to play. I've been teaching for a long time and i'm very comfortable with it, and i enjoy seeing people get passionate about the instrument. It's a great hobby and a great calling to follow! Depending on your knowledge level, you will learn how to play chords, basic pieces, technique exercises and etudes to forward your technique, right hand technique and rasgueados (special spanish flamenco "fan" strumming), and also you'll learn how to correctly read a score, we'll talk about scales and music theory, so as to not only learn to play the pieces, but also hear music in a different way with deeper understanding. I teach at my place, at yours, or via Skype and Zoom! I'll be happy to meet you ^^

Violin for everyone! Books provided. ABRSM possible
:) Hello! I've studied at the Royal Conservatory where I followed the “Master in education”. I teach at a studio in the city center but I also do online lessons via ZOOM if you like the idea. I have a small keyboard connected to my laptop and music-making is guaranteed even online! You'll spare some money too as I will provide lesson-by-lesson all the needed books and repertoire. You can play from your screen or even print at home the necessary sheets for the lesson rather than buying unnecessary extras. I graduated cum laude in my country and specialized in violin education in The Hague. I attended masterclasses and workshops with many celebrated musicians. As an orchestral violin player, I toured all over the world from Europe to China and played with conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Wayne Marshall, John Axelrod, Pascal Rophè and many others. As a teacher, I have been teaching full-time since 2015 and got very good experience ever since. I have familiarity with all the most common syllabi such as Trinity, ABRSM or Suzuki. I like using technology but also a new repertoire with different styles in my classes, I generally follow and develop my own pupil's musical interests. If you are a total beginner without any experience or an advanced musician, this class is suited for you! :)

Private lessons of trumpet and solfege for all levels
I was a student for 6 years at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels while being accepted in one of the most prestigious conservatories in Belgium. In master 1 I had the pleasure of leaving for a year in Erasmus in Italy in Rome, artistic capital essential in particular musically. I have already taught the trumpet by giving private lessons and lessons can be done in French, English and Italian and also by webcam. I am currently an associate professor in a conservatory and a music school in France. My goal: to make you feel more than one with your instrument and to have fun when you practice it. Having known several pedagogical methods of teaching the trumpet across different countries, whether you are beginners, advanced, adults or children, amateurs or with the aim of becoming professional, I try to best adapt my different pedagogical knowledge according to your expectations. and above all without forgetting to share a maximum of musical happiness with you. Having finished the conservatory in music theory I can also give lessons in this subject. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to contact me on the site. Hoping to share a musical path with you, see you soon. Thank you

Clarinet and bass clarinet lessons in Brussels for everyone.
I am a professional clarinetist graduated with distinction at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels (Master Degree in Clarinet) and holding a Bachelor Diploma from the Music Conservatory of Valencia (Spain). Currently I am studying for a Master's Degree in Bass Clarinet, so we can combine both instruments in my lessons. I teach students of all ages and levels. In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes. On top of playing, I can also offer lessons on harmony, form analysis and counterpoint that focus on understanding the structure of music. My lessons will already include many different aspects of the music being taught but there is the option of focusing the theoretical or the practical. i am looking forward to teaching you music!

Voice, music and ear training for all ages with trained singer
Singing and making music are a lot of fun, but not the easiest thing... no matter which level you're at. For this, one needs energy, concentration and, above all, patience. But who succeeds in making progress finds that it's the best feeling ever to make music while using you best potential. That's what I can help with. You sing all the time, but you want to improve your technique? Or you're a complete beginner and you want to get a taste of this intriguing music world? You're already singing in a band but you feel like your voice is getting tired easily, or that you need some tricks for finding notes? Then I can definitely help you, no matter your age or your style of music. My goal with this course is that you find your hobby easier and even more fun than it is already. I'm currently finishing my master's degree in opera singing at the MUK and I use my knowledge to sing pop, jazz, funk... and so on, accompanied by my guitar/keyboard. I'm looking forward to getting to know you!
