Certainly! Chemistry and biology are two fundamental scientific disciplines that are closely intertwined and play a crucial role in the education of students.
From a chemistry perspective, students will delve into the study of matter, its properties, and the interactions that occur at the atomic and molecular level. They will learn about the periodic table of elements, chemical bonding, reaction kinetics, and thermodynamics. These concepts form the foundation for understanding the behavior of substances and the driving forces behind chemical processes. Students will engage in hands-on experiments, simulations, and problem-solving activities to apply their knowledge and develop their analytical thinking skills.
In the realm of biology, students will explore the intricate and fascinating world of living organisms. They will study the structure and function of cells, the diversity of life, the mechanisms of evolution, and the complex systems that sustain living beings. Topics such as genetics, ecology, and physiology will be covered, allowing students to understand the fundamental principles that govern the living world.
The integration of chemistry and biology in the curriculum is crucial, as these disciplines often intersect and complement each other. For instance, students will learn about the chemical processes underlying biological phenomena, such as photosynthesis, cellular respiration, and the structure and function of biomolecules like proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids.
Through engaging lectures, interactive laboratories, and problem-based learning activities, students will develop a deep understanding of the scientific principles that govern the natural world. They will hone their critical thinking, problem-solving, and experimental design skills, preparing them for further studies in science-related fields or a wide range of career paths.
The synergy between chemistry and biology provides students with a holistic perspective on the natural sciences, enabling them to appreciate the complexity and interconnectedness of the living and non-living components of our world. This knowledge will empower them to make informed decisions, contribute to scientific advancements, and tackle the challenges facing our society.

About Me
To begin with, as a young Egyptian child who was born and lived in Cairo, I have learned and lived in a highly diversified community. After finishing high school, I joined faculty of Pharmacy in Cairo University, one of the top universities in Egypt to pursue my higher education. Despite the challenging yet thrilling journey, I have proudly graduated from faculty of Pharmacy with a degree of distinction with honors in 2016. By the year 2017, I had the pleasure to work as a teaching assistant in Faculty of Pharmacy in the British University in Egypt. I joined the department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical technology, as I have always knew my niche lays in this discipline. I am involved in supervising students and delivering the practical part of different modules including physical pharmacy, industrial pharmacy, advanced drug delivery and nanopharmaceuticals, and formulation of solid, semisolid and liquid dosage forms. Most importantly, I assist in supervising a group of students each year in their graduation research project along with a professor, which always inspires me and allow me to learn techniques in the research field. Alongside the mentioned tasks. I worked in my master’s degree since 2018 and I have thankfully earned it in June 2023. My thesis entitled “Itraconazole Loaded Aspasomes for Topical delivery” has immensely helped me in developing lab-based skills, literature reviewing and writing skills. I am fortunate to be a part of a well-established working environment that allowed me to learn and use different devices and software in my practical work. I have successfully published two research articles in Drug Delivery journal and Nanomedicine: Nanotechnology, Biology and Medicine journal. I was - and still am- craving for more opportunities that can enrich my knowledge in this discipline.
Seeking to build on strong research skills, to obtain a research position in the field of medicine and biomedical research. My goal is to eventually have broad-based academic career including teaching, research, and management responsibilities.
