I'm Alberto, a guitar teacher with a degree from the Higher School of Modern Music in Zaragoza. I hold a degree in Musicology from the Complutense University of Madrid.
My adventure with music studies, and with the guitar in particular, began at the age of 8. Since then, I've never stopped learning and pursuing new goals and challenges. Since I was 12, I've played in bands of different genres: blues, rock, hard rock, heavy metal, pop, and indie, and I've gained a wealth of knowledge from all of them.

I adapt to the student's level: from beginner-basic to intermediate.

I believe that technique, improvisation, notions of musical composition, theory and analysis must be learned through the music that you want to play and the music that you already know how to play. I teach singing, piano, music awareness/introduction and solfège.

I live in Madrid and I'm a student pursuing a higher degree in singing (jazz and contemporary music). I dedicate a good part of my time to teaching (music and language) through private online or in-person lessons.

I started giving private lessons to children at their homes when I lived in Germany. During the 2022-2023 academic year, I taught piano to students of all ages at the RedMusik Music School (Igualada, Catalonia).

I studied piano and other instruments for over 15 years at the UGDA and the Luxembourg City Conservatory. After many years of solfège and piano, I obtained the Conservatory's "Première Mention" certificate with the highest possible grade, "Très Bien".

A good music lesson should include not only technique and reading sheet music, but also theoretical and harmonic study, improvisation, recreational playing with the instrument, and ear training and rhythm exercises. I am interested in designing the lesson creatively and adapting it to the needs and desires of the student.

I am a professional musician with a Master's degree in Original Soundtrack Production, a Higher Degree in Classical Composition (Leeds Conservatoire) and a Professional Conservatory Diploma in Piano from the Royal School in London.
