The voice is a vital communicative tool. It is a muscle that can be trained in many ways and for many purposes. A realised voice requires no attention on mechanics so that an individual can realise their performance potential.

My aim is to support the strengthening and toning of the voice so that even in stressful scenarios, such as making a presentation or performing on stage, the individual can focus on delivering an engaging performance rather than having to think about vocal technicalities.

About Me

As a singing teacher I believe in encouraging, supporting and challenging students to achieve their full potential by studying technicalities, focusing on performance and instilling confidence. Not all students go on to follow music professionally, but the skills learnt are transferable to all paths in life.

My combination of previous study offers me a unique perspective in teaching. I specialised in vocal performance at Royal Holloway before then going on to study acting at East 15. This allows an approach that first fulfils the necessary vocal abilities of a student, but then elevates the vocal potential by introducing acting and performance skills.

I am an experienced singer and have received training in classical, jazz, popular, and musical theatre vocal techniques. I am trained in the Estill method and have received training in safeguarding children, youth mental health and psychological first aid. I also have an enhanced DBS check on the update service.

I specialise in teaching rap skills and lyric writing.
If you enjoy rap music and would like to learn how to improve your technique then I am here to help you!
I have many years of experience teaching, performing and recording my own music. I sing, rap, write lyrics and have performed with a band in the past.
I can cover different styles including Hip Hop and Grime.
We will also cover lyric writing where I can help you with your flows and technique to create your own original material. There is an option to get custom made beats to help you create your own original tracks.

I recently finished a 5-year training at the Paris Conservatory as a singer in contemporary music and I am now graduated from this training (jazz, soul, rnb, metal, rock, musical comedy, French song ...). This year I entered a Master of Music and Performance in London.

My name is Auriane, I live and work between Berlin and Athens. I'am also a professional musician and sing in many languages like Spanish, French, English... My practice is the result of 10 years of musical studies in France.

I'm a professional actor, trained at Cygnet Theatre in Exeter, now living in London. I have extensive experience performing in immersive theatre - communicating, catching and holding the attention of a wide variety of people.

I also have experience in storytelling, working with and teaching children of all ages, as well as writing and producing theatre.

Starting drama classes as a teenager was one of the most important things I ever did. It help me build confidence, develop empathy and ground me as the person I am today.

I love performing and creating experiences for my audience - watching their faces as they're surprised, entertained or disgusted by the stories I tell.

I taught voice at the University of Western Ontario and coached at Universities of Toronto, British Columbia and Montreal, and the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto), as well as at Tapestry New Opera, Soundstreams Canada and the Canadian Music Centre. Some of my students have gone on to perform at major opera houses, theatre festivals and professional choirs, while some have gained the confidence to sing a solo at their local church or community event. Some have completed their ABRSM or Trinity exams, or auditioned for conservatoire/university, which I help prepare them for. Seeing my students shine (both on stage and off) fills me with humble pride and fulfillment. I now have 20 years of performing and teaching experience, and specialise in teaching vocal technique and refining tone quality.

I encourage my students to develop healthy singing habits, while combining this with language coaching, interpretation and performance skills. I also work regularly with singers for audition preparation, industry professionals and also in vocal rehabilitation.

Learning to sing is the same as any other skill, and everyone is capable of singing well. Singing is unique to each person and I always adapt my lessons accordingly.
