I teach English as a foreign language to students and adults from all over the world online. I tutor GCSE AS Undergraduate with the emphases being on communication, sentence formation, grammar and reading. Each class is designed to suit the needs of the student so don't worry as you will soon catch up. I use group work, debates, individual work, and I assign homework after each lesson. The emphases is on communicating in english and you will be encouraged to only speak English during the lesson and to practice afterwards at home and with your friends. The lessons are fun and enjoyable.

I am an outgoing person who enjoys life and meeting people and experiencing new cultures. I am married with two boys and I live in Cardiff the capital of Wale. I'm a qualified PGCE tutor in Education having practices originally as a Lawyer. I have 10 years of experience in teaching English, Social Sciences, and Law to students of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds online. I enjoy all sports, especially surfing which I represented Wales in my youth. My teaching style is varied and adapted to suit the students' needs, I place high importance on communication skills and use a variety of teaching methods in my classes, which include video analysis, online screen share and online topical information.

A Costs Lawyer and PGCE Tutor with 20 years experience in all aspects of academia who teaches Law, Politics Welsh, English as well as providing Legal translation service in Cardiff at GCSE, AS Undergraduate, Post Graduate level, and English ESL on online.
After graduating I secured a position with Eversheds for 8 years as a Costs Lawyer and bespoke tutor. The emphasis was on managing a team with responsibility for recovery of costs on behalf of large external clients, predominantly insurers and government departments as well as financial organizations.
From November 2007, I embarked upon my own private practice with a dual purpose of providing legal advice to clients alongside structures and bespoke tutoring. This was followed by a decision to work on a consultancy basis, continuing as a costs lawyer focusing on claimant work and concentrating on my tutoring skills, enabling flexibility to work around family commitments.
I currently have a broad range of private professional clients whom I teach face to face and online whilst also maintaining a traditional student base. I specialize in Law, Politics, and English and online tuition to students aged between 4 to adulthood.
I have extensive experience in teaching Chinese students English as a foreign language.
I am married with two boys. I love the outdoors. I was a member of the Welsh Surf Lifesaving Association for over a decade and am a dedicated surfer. Full driving license. Fluent in Welsh and English. Interested in all aspects of global politics, human rights, and the environment.

My expertise is in tutoring English, Law and Social from infant, GCSE, AS to undergraduate. I want students to enjoy coming to my classes and contribute freely without feeling pressured. My goal is to get the students to think about the topic and formulate opinions and discuss them openly. Homework is set after each lesson with feedback given afterwards.
The English class concentrates on language skills, grammar, reading, pronunciation and sentence formation with the emphases on practice using English, not just in class but also at home and with friends to build confidence.
It does not matter at what level you are in English as each class is carefully planned around your needs.
In the Law class I concentrate mostly on GCSE, AS and Undergraduate. I use a variety of teaching methods as the subject is quite theoretical. Exercises such as mock trials, gathering evidence and the use of case law to name but a few. These classes are enjoyable and requires the student to engage fully.
The Political Science classes are taught from GCSE to Post Graduate level and covers a specific country and it's dynamics. My lessons focus on the United Kingdom, Europe, America and Russia. At these lessons you will be able to compare and contrast different types of systems, their methodology on social policy, foreign policy as well as with other countries. You will watch films, engage in debates and participate both individually and in groups. Most of all all my lessons are fun!!

To the uninitiated, a grammar book seems to be written in another language because the meaning of the words is incomprehensible. In a down-to-earth way, I'll translate the grammar into familiar words. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning while having a positive mindset.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

For adults, I offer online "Free Talk" classes. These classes are very popular and are ok for any age. I currently have a group class of people aged 60s to 80s. If you want to talk about daily life, news, hobbies, traveling, etc. and enjoy speaking English, then this is a good class to do it. Usually a 1-hour class is best as it gives plenty of time.
