I am a professional opera singer who has been working in the field for 3 years since graduating. My experience of the stage and working in the industry has given me valuable insights into how to teach singing in a fun and positive way. We will explore a range of vocal technique, acting through song, and how to read music.

For students looking to sing musical theatre, we will explore how to attain a strong mix, healthy belt, and - for the Rodgers and Hammerstein lovers - how to achieve a beautiful legit sound.

I provide 1 on 1 teaching on Brass instruments and / or Music Theory in the comfort of your own home. I strongly encourage my pupils to undertake study of Music Theory as part of their lessons alongside their Practical Study, as experience has shown many students attain Grade V ABRSM with no substantial previous knowledge of this area. As Grade V Theory is a requirement of the ABRSM before a student can be entered for a Grade VI examination on their instrument I feel that teaching the Theory alongside their instrumental studies assists in minimising the delay before a student can proceed to the higher examinations if they so wish. Further to this I believe it also allows them a better understanding of the music they are striving to perform. While I encourage my students to take the Grade examinations as a mark of their progress I am also happy to work with students who do not wish to undertake the pressures of certification but just wish to learn to play or improve their playing ability for their own enjoyment.

A Performing Arts Class that will help you understand and control your voice. Learn new songs / monologues and practise with me to make you feel confident and ready for auditions / shows. We can also work on technique and styles of voice suited to you. I am young and fun and want to share my passion of performing and to help others be their best performer.

I have over 15 years of teaching experience and have taught winners of The Voice and X-Factor. My tailored approach to teaching customizes lessons for your needs and vocal requirements. One to One lessons will help you to understand how your voice works and how to get what you want from it. Composition is one of most exam boards requirements for GCSE and A-level Music. In particular, to write a piece ranging from 2 - 3 minutes in length for either solo or chamber groups of instruments.

I am majoring in composition at university and I specialise in tutoring music for students taking GCSE and/or A-level, having studied and taken these A-levels through the AQA Exam specification. Composition may appear overwhelming and it is my aim that my students will be able to find the beauty in writing music and being able to cope with the stresses of writing music; by equipping them with both the necessary skills of writing music, but also how to push through the various challenges that come with it (And perhaps most importantly, how to achieve excellent marks for your coursework)!

I'm a classically trained bass player with 28+ years experience. I offer tuition on the electric bass guitar covering everything from fundamentals to writing basslines and advanced techniques. I also offer music technology lessons. Whatever DAW you use I will cover; recording, mixing and mastering. Also the use of EQ, compression, reverb, delay and other effects which can colour a mix.
