Sharon is a fun, friendly and patient female teacher who teaches children as early as age 2 years old in keyboard/piano. Using a fun teaching method direct from the USA, which uses colours, shapes and letters to learn real music, children are able to learn as young as 2!
Sharon focuses on having fun and encouraging children to enjoy music first and foremost so they become passionate for all music. Sharon is a vocal teacher and beginner keyboard teacher available to teach children aged 3 years+ in Keyboard/piano and 8+ in Vocals.

Sharon works as a live vocalist around the UK and abroad and has done for 15 years, with experience in the industry, as well as great stage presence, performance and attitude!

Having completed her CME (Certificate of Education to Music) in 2022, teaching children is her passion and spreading a love for music from a young age!
I mainly teach pop/rock and can teach exam grade using Lcm board.

Lyle
My name is Lyle, and I teach Trumpet, Piano, and also more general composition and music production.
I specialise in contemporary styles (anything from the last 100 years), and have found many of my students typically are:

- Young children, who's parents are looking for a teacher who is more interested in flexibility and helping the child become inspired and self-motivated, rather than crushed by overly academic and strict teaching.

- Adults who feel like their childhood instrumental learning has left them with large gaps in their knowledge and ability, particularly when it comes to improvisation and playing music without sheet music.

- Learners who are interested in developing their musicianship, and curious about, but also a bit scared by JAZZ.

- Learners who are interested in recording music, and want advice on both music and professional goals and the industry.

I am happy to teach grades, but have a strong teaching philosophy that focuses around more specifically tailored learning paths that focus on giving the student the tools needed to become self-sufficient playing and creating music, whether it be to relax at home, play with others, or write songs.

If this sounds good, please don't hesistate to get in touch and we can discuss further!

About me:
I am currently completing my Level 4 Music Educator certificate from Trinity College, and have been fully teaching professionally for just over two years, since finishing my studies.

As a trumpeter, I have played on European tours with various bands, played on great stages such as The Royal Festival Hall, Bath Forum, and at Glastonbury Festival.

I also have my own band, LYLE!, in which I sing, play keyboards, play trumpet, and write and produce all of the music, as well as playing and performing with many different bands across the UK.

Laura
Hello, I’m Laura, and I absolutely love teaching singing. There’s something very special about helping students discover and develop their voice, whether they’re singing for the first time or working towards refining their technique. Watching someone grow in confidence and truly enjoy their singing is what makes teaching so rewarding.

I have a Master’s degree in Songwriting from Bath Spa University and vocal training with BAST, giving me a strong foundation in both performance and technique. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of performing at festivals such as Shambala, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown, and Cheltenham Jazz Festival, as well as supporting big names from the underground music scene across the UK. Through these experiences, I’ve seen first-hand how powerful singing can be, not just as a skill but as a way of expressing something deep and personal. My goal is to help students connect with their voice in a way that feels natural, expressive, and fulfilling.

As a qualified and experienced yoga facilitator, I may incorporate breathing exercises and yoga techniques into sessions where needed. These can be particularly helpful in releasing tension, improving mindset, and opening up the voice, allowing students to sing with greater ease and confidence.

How I Teach

I tailor every lesson to suit the individual. Whether you want to focus solely on singing, songwriting, or a mix of both, we’ll create a session that works for you. My approach is supportive and relaxed, helping students of all levels build confidence and skill in a way that feels enjoyable.
• Singing lessons focus on technique, tone, performance, and breathing exercises to help reduce tension and improve vocal control.
• Songwriting sessions guide you through developing ideas, refining lyrics, and bringing songs to life.
• Basic guitar tuition is also available for those who want to accompany themselves while singing or songwriting.
